The way Natsume Yujin-cho is organised right now on Crunchyroll is that the first 3 seasons are combined in to 1 and listed as Natsume Yujin-cho with 39 episodes. The 4th season is listed separately as "Natsume Yujin-cho 4" and the currently airing 5th season is listed separately as "Natsume Yujin-cho 5." I don't understand why it's organised this way, especially since other series that have multiple seasons can be found in one place and listed with tabs indicating which season it is.

I'm suggesting that Natsume Yujin-cho should be organised in the same way as other shows with multiple seasons. I'd also love if the shows didn't have the number indicating the season, but the original given titles as the tabs for them. I'm thinking they should be like this:

Season 1: Natsume Yujin-cho (the first 13 episodes)
Season 2: Zoku Natsume Yujin-cho (episodes 14-26)
Season 3: Natsume Yujin-cho San (episodes 27-39)
Season 4: Natsume Yujin-cho Shi
Season 5: Natsume Yujin-cho Go

This is one of my favourites series of all time, so I guess the way it's listed on CR bugs me more than the standard user, but it seems odd given how other shows with multiple seasons are organised. Hope this is a suggestion that's taken in to consideration.

The entries need to be split, as the publisher in Japan has changed in-between seasons.

Well, if that's the reason why the first 3 seasons are separately listed from the 4th and 5th seasons, then why are Seasons 4 and 5 separated? They are both from the same publisher, ADK.

Seasons 1-3 Publisher

Season 4 Publisher

Season 5 Publisher

That also still doesn't change the fact that I think the first 39 episodes should be properly split in to their respective seasons with tabs indicating as such. Also, even with the 2 different publishers, why can't they both just be listed?

Just because 4 and 5 share the same publisher, that doesn't mean that the rest of the production committees for both seasons is the same.

Okay, but I'm still not sure why a different publisher or a different production committee necessitates separate listings on Crunchyroll for multiple seasons of the same show. The first season of Durarara was produced at Brain's Base, but the seasons that came after were by Studio Shuka, yet there'll all listed together on CR. Natsume Yujin-cho's first 4 seasons were from Brain's Base and the 5th season is being done by Studio Shuka too. I don't get the distinction here.

If anyone who works for Crunchyroll could give me a logistical reason, that would be much appreciated.
