With Naruto, I've only seen the anime and only recently read the last few chapters just to see how it ends. I'd love to read it from the beginning one of these days.

With One Piece, it's more of the same deal. I've only seen the anime, but I recently started reading the manga right after the Dressrosa arc ended in the anime and I'm all caught up. However, I've heard numerous complaints about the production of the anime by Toei, most notably a pacing problem. I'd also like to read this from the beginning.

With Bleach, it's sort of a different situation. I've watched all of the anime, including all the horrendous fillers, but that's it. I never bothered to read beyond that and to be frank, I don't really remember much other than the Soul Society arc. However, I've heard nothing but bad things about Bleach since the anime ended and am not entirely sure if I want to invest at this moment if that's the case.

I want to collect and read all three in the future, but which should I start collecting & reading first?

If you're dead set on one of the three the best choice would easily be One Piece. It's easily the most consistently popular among shonen jump's weekly fan rankings, has easily the best and most recogniseable supporting cast out of the three and its world building and characterization are on a level most creative types can't even dream of. Plus One Piece has easily the worst anime adaptation of the three, so you're much, much better off experiencing it through manga.

This is just me, but if I had to choose, I'd go with Naruto first and One Piece last, even though One Piece is my favourite out of the three. The main reason for me to do this is that One Piece is not finished, but Bleach and Naruto are so you can purchase them and read the whole story for both franchises without thinking about when the next box set will come out.

In regards to why I'd choose Naruto first, it's because it had a better conclusion than Bleach, and the overall quality of the story, even though it did drop as the series went on and it was never perfect to begin with, it never felt like a huge drop in quality like it did with Bleach.

Thanks guys, it looks like One Piece will be first then! I'll probably collect Naruto second and collect Bleach last since no one had anything good to say about it, lol.

It's our pleasure, and hey, on the very slim chance you get bored with the series, you at least know who to send your surplus issues to.

Oh, I know I won't. I'm the type of guy that once I start something, I can't stop until it's finished. Besides, the animation for One Piece in the anime hasn't been great lately. As far as I can recall, ever since the time skip, it's sort of dropped in quality a bit. Dressrosa was a PAIN to get through especially, since everything felt dragged out. I had to look up some of the episodes for the arc, and Toei was actually dragging out each individual chapter for one episode. It'll be a nice change of scenery reading the manga from the beginning.

I'm afraid dressrossa is still very much dragged out in the mang, but it is probably a hell of a lot better than the anime. Happy reading
