*Assuming you aren't bi-sexual. but i'd also like to know what you think
Example you're attracted to one specific gender and dislike the other. You meet someone and they are perfect in every way possible. You two date/talk for at least a full year and you've met each others families but "nothing" has ever happened. You tell this person you like them a lot, love them even and wonder why you two have never "done" anything and they tell you that it's because they aren't the gender they appear to be and "down there" they have the opposite genders "tools". How would you react to this?

I've been thinking about this and i'd be okay with it, I'd be completly shocked and have to think about the situation for atleast a full day though. If i was a straight person and found out a guy I connected with perfectly turned out to be a transitioning female then i guess i'm gay, does that make you homosexual though? O_o

EDIt 1: Guess i'm in the minority with my thoughts but then again i do think that you can be in a relationship with someone and not have to shag each other.

Everyone thinks they found their soul mate until they are together every day for a decade or two.

As a non bi-sexual

There are some things in this world better left un-thought about.

However im pretty sure i've seen enough futas to not give a single shit if she has like 7/10+ appearance. maybe give succ but thats as far as the boundary would go.

um id say a year isn't enough. the fact that it took like a year to find out they may not be the gender they appear to be is bizarre. Even with that aside your topic question is silly. It's not wrong it's just not what you expected. You worded it badly. And if I was a girl and thought I was dating a guy who used to be a female doesn't mean your gay it means youd be a pansexual. which is what I am. that's if and only if they were a transgender if you stayed. if they were a transsexual then id say youre still a pan lol. or bi whatever you want to classify as at that point or even a lesbian in the case I said before. sooo yea ^_^ theres more than just bisexual gay and lesbian

I just basically mean about you liking/ being in love with someone and then they tell you there gender isn't what you think. I personally think it's the person that you fall for not the gender but me all of a sudden finding something like that out i'd be definitely shocked. I feel like it's worse for the other person, By the comments in this thread it seems like people would definitely get mad and end it so you have to think whats it like having a secret like that, where 9/10 if the person you like finds out, then it's over.

First of all, I don't believe in "soulmates" or "the one" or any other such thing. Nobody is perfect, everyone is going to have little flaws and foibles that drive you mad (especially once you start cohabitating). Anyone who appears totally without flaw is going to make me suspicious that they're hiding something (like a penis, apparently).

That being said.. I'd probably "retreat" emotionally to safer waters. My sexuality is what it is, it's not something I can accommodate for.

I personally would be pissed. Something like that was hidden from me for a year. Sorry but if they didn't even hint at such a thing I'd tell them no and it's not because of there gender it's because they hid a secret like that from me for so long

Well, as far as the rest of the world is concerned, you're straight. The only time you might be considered gay is when you're alone in the bedroom with your partner, which is none of anyone's business, and when someone's transitioning... well, it's because they think they're NOT actually their current gender. So the situation you're looking at here is that everyone on the planet EXCEPT YOU thinks you and your partner are straight.

If you're incapable of accepting this, your partner is not actually your soulmate. Their soul is expressing that they are a different gender than they happen to have in their trousers, and if you're more concerned with their trousers - that's NOT your soulmate. Your soul needs to have the same flexibility theirs does on what "gender" means.
