Deal with it.

Over-privileged twats from my generation are growing up thinking they're all beautiful little snowflakes destined to stick up for the little guy by forfeiting the liberties of all of their "would-be" oppressors as long as that same low-key racism that they dish out isn't pointed at themselves. Now please continue about how I "harassed" you with my "hate speech" and "mansplaining" so you can capitalize on being the victim in your Gender Studies class, teaching of a non-existent rape culture while the real world burns around your "safe space" little bubble. I'm sorry, was that not in your "preferred pronouns"?

you do realize you're getting worked up about something some random teacher somewhere said? that doesn't actually affect you at all? that you only know about because of a news story someone on a forum linked to?

are you perhaps . . . offended??

like, whether you agree with what they said about racism or not, my point is it's always weird to see people type up these big angry rants about like "how DARE people say they're OFFENDED" and never demonstrating the self-awareness to realize that they're doing the exact same thing. you're basically arguing with no one in particular about issues that probably don't personally affect you because you're offended that someone somewhere is talking about them . . .

Humor is subjective, and satire is usually the hardest to spot. I wasn't even making an argument. Here's the fun part where I explain the joke: I didn't even read the article. I spotted the autism a mile away and threw everybody's favorite buzzwords into a controversial topic to be referential. People laugh when they think, "Haha yeah it is like that".

wow, i guess I'M the idiot for assuming you actually read the article the topic was about before posting in the topic. can't believe i didn't see that one coming! =o

i'm not sure i get it though, are you satirizing people who whine about other people being offended? or something?? because otherwise i don't see how that invalidates what i said about your post at all . . .

or are you saying you were just trying to get in on the whole "making fun of political correctness" action that totally hasn't been done to death already? let me guess, you think jokes about identifying as an attack helicopter are the pinnacle of comedy and originality too?

All of us instinctively fear different and new things, like varying external biological attributes, language, and culture. Often the three go together. I suppose racism involves primarily the first of those, but I imagine the second and third also come into play.

I think saying "everyone is racist" is both pejorative and an oversimplification. What is true, though, is that we all learn and absorb the tendencies and opinions of our culture. So, for example, as an Asian woman who grew up in the U.S., I absorbed some of the stereotypes against black people and homosexuals, and thus this is something I try to fix and watch out for in myself. I don't at all in fact believe anyone is inferior to me; far from it. But I may (and will) instinctively think and act based on what I absorbed from the culture. In this sense it's a nontrivial thing to say that I'm a racist; sure, I've been trained by culture to have racist responses; I don't actually agree with them, or hold to a racist ideology. I'm willing myself to say that I can be racist sometimes, but I'd be somewhat careful calling other people racist.

Note the tension above: inside me are both egalitarian beliefs and sentiments and racist stereotypes and impulses. What this should tell us is that humans aren't coherent beings (I'm being deconstructionist here, for anyone who noticed). Maybe a person just hasn't thought about racial issues, or has an egalitarian ideology but doesn't realize they also hold and espouse really racist stereotypes. I imagine one could also hold a ridiculously racist ideology and yet not reveal it one bit by any actions. People just aren't that consistent - or their consistency is confusing. For these reasons, I'm willing to say someone's actions or opinions might come from a racist ideology, but actually saying they're racist is more than I'm usually willing to do. So basically, it is incorrect to say that to be white is to be racist, and racism is absolutely not an inherent part of human nature (while fear of the other is).

Throwing some Foucault into the mix, I think that the movement to make everything about racism, and to orient our lives and thinking around racial issues - to define ourselves by them - has as its goal to control people. It may indeed be good to combat racism, but my being is not determined by how I behave or think in this issue - and neither is anyone else's.

Are you guys gonna bite every piece of bait that dangles before? Every day I glance at the CR forums I see threads like this. Do these anecdotal idiots really wind you up that much you congregate to lambaste everything they say are you just looking for reasons to complain about America being anti-white? I'm genuinely curious because the US racial tension boggles me.

'Race' does not scientifically exist. Its a human construct. There is only ONE species of human animal. Get any group of people and increase its size it will get to a social tipping point where the group divides into tribalism and instinctually views 'others' as different and a threat for the competition of resources.

It happens in Australia as well. One example, an Aboriginal football player was getting booed every game because he was a flog, he made some bad comments in the media and he showed aggression to members of the crowd, he got a 13 year old girl kicked out of the footy and nationally embarrassed, and yet he went and played the sook and pulled the race card.
Even though white players get booed, umpires get booed and no other Aboriginal players were getting booed.
And you would not believe the impact in the media and how long it went on for.
You had the cheif of the AFL calling it racist and you had officials and team presidents apologizing , teams wearing indiginous guernsey's usually only worn during the indiginous round, you even had them trying to ban him getting booed and threatening to kick people out and ban them from the ground.
And as per usual with this shit, it turned whites against whites and the do gooder SJW's were out in force.
The shit was beyond ridiclious. Even some other Aboriginals thought he was acting like an arrogant cry baby flog.

Um one women, a celebrity (a white women) on the news expressed some concerns and fear for her children as far as the Muslim immigration and apparently that was racist as well. She copped it hard. Mostly by other white people (left wingers).

I could go on and on.

Another thing that's funny about racisim is, how the fuck is something racist even when its the truth?
Like black men liking fried chicken for example? that one always baffled me lol i mean who the fuck dose not like fried chicken and why would it be offensive to be accused of such a thing?? Americans..

Thank you CR forums for serving as a proxy for that video game I was finally able to put down after an hour even though that hour was ten hours. What happened? I got arrested alot. Did those people have to die? Not really. Could better decisions have been made? Absolutely.

I actually added two more pics :P

Yeah shes cool. I never voted for her back in the day but i voted for her this year. She actually cares about Australia and Australians. Unlike most PC white leaders.

EDIT: Of course she is labled as a racist Islamapobic bigot. But caring about your own people is all of those things i suppose. Whenever she is a guest on the news she is always treated as a joke. never taken seriously and never shown any respect.
They really tried to shut her down. She was even arrested and served time once. The higher powers that be eh...

2ND EDIT: didn't you like the drunk Aussie girls peeing? lol
