do you fast? for the past few months i have been fasting for over 24 hours, twice a month. at first it was once a month, then i upped it to two. i don't eat anything at all, except take a few sips of water during the day. this is the most i can do, at least for now. though i don't think i'll be increasing the rate. i started this for health reasons, not that there was anything wrong with me. i just thought it might be a good idea (from what i'v read) that giving the body/digestive system a break is a good thing. i'm not sure i'm doing it right, but i don't feel unwell from this. although i don't notice any noticeable improvements/positives either. recently i was thinking that this is good for the soul/spirit too. a sort of penitence. suffering is good for the soul, or so i'v heard. so, what do you think? any advice? what are your experiences. do you fast mornings only, week long, juice? please share your thoughts and opinions.

it is good for you. meditation can help supplement the energy, if you get to learn dantien breathing correctly. can make a growling stomach stop basically by substituting some electromagnetic energy for the electrochemical energy derived from digestion.

Absolutely not. I'm thin, and have a very fast metabolism, which means if I miss a meal by even a few hours I risk blacking out and losing consciousness. It's not really a choice for me, I have to eat regularly.

If you want fasting the best to do is start eating 6:00 pm to 4:00 am its up to you if you eat all the time in that time
But after that stop eating by 4:00 am and never eat again nor drink water. All day you just rest and sleep
If you are thirsty dont drink anything.
Then by 6:00 pm start eating again.

When i visit my friends in Dubai they teach me this.
