So by that logic anyone who follows any rule book is a psychopath.

No. But if you dont question it and just say "This is a good book. Look it says child marriage is ok" Would you be like... Well it says here so i guess its ok. Or anyone with a functional mind would be like, no thats wrong and messed up. Why do you think laws change, because objectively we find flaws and adapt to better ones for the future thats how true morality works.

So you believe in the goodness of people no matter what, but these particular people are automatically psychopaths?
Either that is a hypocritical statement or you see being a psychopath as a good thing, which then ends your argument about why this is bad.

No. What i am saying is that people arent perfect but you need to improve upon your character. Do you honestly think people just wake up and think, boy i want to kill someone today, thanks Satan.

Look, shouldn't you be cutting ice for Queen Elsa, or something??

(Isn't it cute when Nordic/Swedish Protestants, who were usually beaten with Bibles over their heads for their entire childhood, try to interpret religion?

...Nah, on second thought, not really. I gave up on Ingmar Bergman after one or two films in college, too.)

Deyre - All I can really say is that what you suggest is taken out of context, for one.

In addition, New Testament.

And also, Christianity doesn't create bigots, bigots use Christianity to justify bigotry. However, if one actually follows the teachings of Jesus, such bigotry is unacceptable.

(Again...WHY does a lack of colloquial English make the punchlines so easy to drive a Mack truck through?)

Jesus is basically this nice guy who invites children for cake, but if they dissobey him he will flog them. Its more of a cynical love to describe it. Its basically the same only with a different tone in it.

Not so much. But i dont think using much time on it would be the best way to get stuff done.

Okay, so I'm talking to someone who actually has no fucking clue what he is talking about and is actually parroting shit he's heard.

Glad I found that out before I wasted my time arguing.

Go read the New Testament, and actually learn about Jesus. Or, read the book "Rabbi Jesus." Or, you know, use an encyclopedia.

Gandi himself said that after learning about Jesus, he was going to become a Christian, but in India, at the time, Indians weren't allowed in the church. I believe he said something along the lines of "I would have been Christian if I hadn't met Christians first."

But you know.... that may require you to form your own opinion, and not parrot what you've been told.

Did you know Psalm 2 is about the future messiah. You should read that. Lets be real its just putting butter on it, its basically a more softy God of punishment, its still the same taste.

Edit: Gandi sorta went back and forth since he seem to be like just going with everything, besides he beat his own wife. Although he did great to fight for India's independence without bloodshed, thats one achievement that i'll say was great

Which is exactly the kind of crap people say when they are parroting someone else's opinion.

If you've paid much attention to mythology, it should be frank that gods don't generally follow the same moral code as humans. They're supposed to be gods. It's a mistake to offhandedly try and hold them to the same standards as humans. Their thought processes are usually going to seem alien, and it's like trying to appropriate our sense of morals onto, well, anything else on this planet. Dogs, cats, water buffalo, etc. don't follow our rules, much less, gods. If they were like ordinary people, humans would see them as equals and wouldn't revere them. If I'm not mistaken, the huge differences between gods and humans helped to influence the Abrahamic god into creating Jesus; to try and bridge the gap and establish more of an understanding.
