This is a very interesting video. The speaker seems to have done a serious amount of research on the subject, and has put forth a message that really has resonated with me. Can you write a summary? It's about 80 minutes long and he sounds like a tin foil hat in the first few minutes so I don't want to watch this whole thing when I don't know what to expect from this video.

You had tribes/villages of people who rarely intermingled with other tribes/villages outside moderate walking distance. Combine that with geographical boundaries hindering travel, and you had small pockets of relatively similar genetic variation.
