It's true they only have the one. In terms of naval and air might there really isn't anyone that can compete with the USA, and it's not even close.

And you also have to take into account that everything we have is far superior technologically.

Russias capabilities, as far as dealing with the USA goes, are really only suited for kind of a defensive ground war. They couldn't compete in sea, and they don't have near enough transport to launch any kind of ground invasion on the USA and maintain a supply line like we could. There honestly is nothing Russia could do to take the USA outside of starting a straight up nuclear war, and no one wins that really. That carrier would be annihilated so fast they'd miss it if they blinked.

The significance of them moving the carrier from the Northern Sea to the Mediterranean is quite great. Syria is a Mediterranean country. They've been buzzing our ships with their bombers and fighters lately, and have actually bombed a CIA / British Special Forces base operating in Syria, even though they were told - by phone, by one of our generals, not to bomb that base. In fact, they bombed it harder a second time - after the call was made.

Their actions are very, very provocative. We have a carrier fleet in the Mediterranean, now. It's going to be very crowded there. Also, Russia has been starting a lot of wars lately, and conquering a lot of places in Georgia, Ukraine, and I think Croatia, too.

So, Norway is right to be worried. They move to the Mediterranean might be ruse to start something somewhere else along the Northern Sea... NATO should just gear up it's air and sea power, just to warn Russia off.

You are practically like a CIA super agent, the level of knowledge you gain from your youtube videos and other blog sites never ceases to amaze me. I do believe that by patrolling the dark corners of the internet you must have been able to gather intel on every military's advanced secret weapons. Kudos to you sir for seeking out the truth and not accepting the main stream media filtered BS.

yeah, cuz that's the only video about it.

CNN: "Within yards of the ship"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mbXX2a_8p4

What makes you think they would just let a russian ship buzz by then close enough to spit on them as he flew by, 12 times over and over and over? LOL

better yet, go do some of your own research, go to you tube and type in USS Donald Cook disabled and you can see plenty of videos.

or do you think they'd fly by that close without having disabled em first

Look...I may seem like some "super agent" to you, but that's because I go out and research and look around the massive internet, i.e. do fkn homework before forming an opinion on something, and when I find that my past opinions on something are terribly contradicted by new information, I'm not going to just doggedly stick to an old opinion because "I cant be wrong."

So yeah, Kudos to me for going outside of USA approved news, lol.....you should try it sometime, it really gives you a perspective on how utterly warped the government ministries of propaganda have become.

Good god!
I go offline for 24 hours and suddenly Russia has swept through eastern Europe.
So did they invade Hungary after the Ukraine or was it via Romania and Serbia?

On a serious note, you may be thinking of the Crimea.

the same crimea that voted to rejoin russia, just to the southeast of the 2 other sections that wanted absolutely nothing to do with kiev or the EU and wanting their own autonomy? where kiev sent soldiers and tanks in, because the counties did not want to participate in their antics? no you cant secede, lol where have we seen that before? you cant secede, its illegal! lmao and those rules, secession IS rejecting that framework of rules.

A vote to secede and join a foreign country generally holds more weight when you are not currently occupied by the army of the country you are being asked to join. Would the people have voted the same way without Russian troops in the street? It is now impossible to say.

But...what about North Korea's five troop carriers? (Even if they had to Photoshop them. Badly.)

North Korea is a different kind of beast entirely. I mean, you saw the level of skill in that photoshop. If they chose to engage us in cyber warfare the effects would be devastating. Not like the Russians flying jets over our stuff devastating, but really really bad.

Haven't the russkies been upkeeping their nuclear arsenal better than us?

That's whats important, not carriers that can be taken out by a single torpedo from a submarine.
