The entire site was in Spanish on my phone this morning.

that's terrible, reading something in another language is lo peor.
jokes aside, what's happening? I'm terrified with the DDoS attack from yesterday

To be fair, I can understand enough Spanish to hold a conversation and read since my native language and dialect is based on it. I just found it very odd. I cleared cookies, cache, etc. and it returned to normal.

Wonder if that "internet of thing" attack yesterday is happening here now.

Cloudflare is run by DYN, the target of the attacks. While Cloudflare itself is largely unaffected, the DNS configuration of a Cloudflare-connected domain could be pointing at a DYN-hosted record.

More details here.

Ahhhhh, so me not crazy then, that's good.

BTW, a DDOS may not shut the site down entirely; especially if CR tech is good. Furthermore if there is a larger attack Internet wide going on, the problem is at the Tier 1 Internet level (ISP, DNS; not CR).

In other words, it could be "the entire internet is slowing down", geographically at least. Back when I used to play on EU servers for WoW and the like, I remember times when EU Internet being slowed thanks to some hacker groups. Almost like a monthly occurrence at times...

I didn't have any problems at all with the site on Saturday, but I only watched Izetta and that was in the late evening/early night time for the Eastern Time Zone in the US. However, I didn't have any problems navigating the site or anything at all.

Hah, Crunchyroll tech being good, that's kind of a joke. The site has actually been DDoS'd before, and it was down completely when that happened, though that was a direct attack on Crunchyroll. Unless they've made great strides for security tech in the months since that happened, I don't think that had much to do with it (that attack happened less than a year ago). Also, there have been several times where a popular show has slowed down or shut the site down completely due to the servers not being able to handle it, as happened on Saturday with the Rooster Teeth site and the premiere of the RWBY 4th Volume on there. It'll be interesting to see if the same thing happens next week when it premieres on here.

No prob over here yesterday or today. But I did have a couple of issues playing battlefield yesterday. But that's due to the DDoS script kiddies from yesterday's attack
