Is there anyone who knows if an update is coming to the tvOS app? It's been over a year since the last release and the current build is VERY buggy.

Did they seriously get rid of browsing by season?

Or am I missing something. This new update sucks big time.

yeah the update is awful.

Tried emailing their support, they asked me "what error do you get". I told them i don't get an error, the app design is just unusable. And now they are ignoring me.

It is just so bad it does not even buffer in 1080p anymore. Had no problems with the old one why change a good working app with an alpha update just test it before rolling out

Nothing has been changed regarding how video is played back. If it's not working well today, it means that your connection to the servers is worse than usual, or that some other application or device on your network is using your bandwidth.

Hmm maybe, what strange was that on android tv it buffered till 1080p I will try again later.

Well I check again and on my other apps it is 1080p all the time but the new tv os it is not. Doesn't anyone else have this problem?

All of the apps have adaptive playback and will use lower resolutions if the connection quality is low.

Yes I know that and you can see it chance when the subs get smaller hence 1080p then. It does not do that on the Apple tv since the update but the andriod app does hmm so not the connection quality is the problem at the moment. It never was the issue before the update so my guess it is a update probelm but well back to my old andriod tv then :D.
