I'm not sure if I'll ever find a circumstance where I can unleash myself.

Nope, never do that. Why? Because there's nothing wrong with my personality. I'm optimistic about that XP

I'm a different person when i'm outside and i'm a different person when i'm home. The only time i'm "Myself" is when i'm by myself, but when i'm by myself i'm not talking

No, because I don't want to upset anyone or get myself committed.

I don't feel the need to "hold back" persay. I'm pretty hard to upset I think. However, I am a very private person, I'll tell people simple stuff, like my sexuality, if they pry on the subject; I like being seen as friendly and cheerful to people, and I love being helpful to friends, family, and others, but when it gets to more personal topics I'm not one to shy away from politely telling people it's none of their business. The only real exception is my best friend, and it took me 5 years of being friends and 2 years of being best friends before I really got comfortable disclosing stuff to her. I don't like lying though, I try to just not say anything, withholding the truth, rather than lie if I can.

I have specific friends I can completely be myself around, but it's very few people. I mostly am pretty good at faking a general calm happiness.

No, because I'm either full on or basically the quietest person you've ever met

I think most functional adults know when to hold on to their thoughts and when to express them. I'm not saying you should hide or change who you are but say, you're at work or a family dinner and someone wants to pray. Let's say you're an atheist and you're against organized religion. Would it be appropriate for you to interrupt them and try to engage a debate on how faith is simply a suspension of disbelief and doubt and try to get your grandmother to leave her Church?

The only personality you'll have if you don't know how to hold yourself back is a dickhead.
