I mean... certain anime suggests that. Not that there is anything wrong with it. Eating less meat is always nice for you.
But some likes a chow down!!!

No. Well, not much more than anyone else taking the higher rates of fat shaming/bullying/depression in Japan. Anime aside, they just walk a lot, bro. They also eat healthier... well.. kind of.. sort of. Some do.

Walking is good though!!!. Fat shaming is a good thing though, i mean it might add somewhat pressure but aslong as it doesnt go to straight forward bullying of people then i dont think its bad.

Fat shaming isn't really how to approach it. More often than not, it just ends up being actual bullying and doesn't help in the least. Many people who are fat already feel shitty about being fat. Instead of motivating them, though, they just convince themselves they are awful people and feel it's not worth trying. The right approach will probably be different for every person.

^ Agree with Hideyoshi, on that discussion.

Besides which, anime is very stylized for the most part. There are series with more realistic body types, it just depends on the tone of the show and what demographic they are marketing to.
