The people in the past most likely gave and did their best for future generation to give them lovely entertainment with somewhat corporate interests involved. Nostalgia isnt bad though. But i would never go back then to relive it. I am glad we live in a lazy world of technology, it doesnt stop you from dreaming. If you do your best and give it all you got then people will be proud of you ^^

I've always said to people, "Nostalgia doesn't make something good" and I stand by that statement.

I've gone back and watched or played things I used to think were great, only to realize they sucked ass and that my tastes have advanced way too many times to let nostalgia control my opinion.

Nostalgia can be a good thing, but can never make something that sucked good.

The thing about Nostalgia is that it hits you from reliving cherished moments or memories. Picking up and playing a game you haven't touched in 10 years. Listening to music you haven't heard in a while, eating certain food, movies, TV shows.

I think more so now we are actually trying to cash in on this, which doesn't work. You can't take something from then and bring it into the now, there isn't a way you can actually capture nostalgia in this day and age, which is why the moments when we were young define who we are today. I just don't think kids today will understand about nostalgia when they get older like myself and others, and it hurts me to think that passion is slowly dying, and people are quickly losing their way.

Nothing bad about being nostalgic. Its just bad if you wish to go back and relive it. I happily disagree and am happy i have internet and stuff to google up. I mean sure it aint perfect but then again nothing is perfect, but i enjoy it, the stuff i liked and can expand on those with the world i currently live in in the current age. Thats why i love the world so much.
