Ideally, I'd love to be at least 5 hours from civilization of any sort.

Such is the problem with a welfare state. It remove any incentive to excel in life and civilization tends to stagnate as a result. You do heap on incentive to do irresponsible things though like have kids without being able to support them. After all why should you bust your ass when that person next door who does nothing and gets paid for it will benefit more than you since they didn't have to work for it like the sucker you are? Then when everybody is equally poor where does the money come from when nobody is left to foot the bill? They also have tossed around taxing car per mile along with the tax already in place on gasoline. With car MPG going up people are using less gas and the coffers are getting slimmer. There is no end to "Its your money and we want it now!".

"the government will take care of them"

that's the common trend

Japan has a really low birthrate since most parents are educated and they wait until they can afford to raise a child before having kids..

here.. well.. just breed like rats.. because the government will take care of you

child tax credits
welfare

now they also want free childcare ? free college?

it's easy to promise a lot of stuff to these "entitled bratty individuals" for their votes

what you said is very true.. i think soon or late i mighe experience burn out

since why the heck do i have to work 50-60 hr a week just so i can make enough to pay bills and also pay taxes to pay for childcare for kids that are not even mine ?

why work ? since the government will take care of them

more regulations and taxes and more free stuff- why not use your own money instead of someone else's

*yourself

This is probably the classic essay topic from schools

I'll probably doing the same thing I'm doing now for work (but as a side job). I hope to find something else to do in the next 5 years .. a job with better pay, full benefits and fewer work days.

Since I'm expecting Hillary to win I expect in 5 years depopulation through war should be well under way so I'll probably be dead. I hate you all.

A quote from Henry Ford sums it up nicely:
“Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government
take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian.”
