I currently have a double boot on my laptop with ubuntu and windows 10. For some reason, I can watch Haikyuu while in windows 10 but on ubuntu the following message appears "Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region". The same thing happens on my android device.

Sent a ticket to support but their answer had nothing to do with the issue .

At first glance, it would seem that you have something in Windows 10, like a VPN, Proxy, browser add-on/plugin, etc, set up to circumvent region blocking, since two other means of access are getting detected as you not being in an allowed region.

It could also be a leftover cookie if you went travelling to one of the allowed countries which hasn't gotten reset yet, too.

What country are you in, and what country is detected (gray text near the bottom of the /contact page) when you look in Windows, vs when you look in Ubuntu? The show is only available in these country codes:

bz ca cr cu do sv gt hn mx ni pa pr us vi ar bo br cl co ec fk gf gy py pe sr uy ve cx cc dk fo fi gg ie im je nl no se gb as au gu nz nf mp um za hm

the only anime I have issues with is just Haikyu. I don't have any problems with other ones.

Which season? It appears that the first season of Haikyu was more region limited and didn't include Latin America, but S2 (and 3) should both be available there..

Also, something to try, in the footer (on all pages) there is a column for Language that switches what you can see sometimes... You might try looking at a different English (US) or Spanish (LATAM vs Spain) choice and see if that makes any difference. Sometimes if is sub isn't available in a specific choice, the episodes don't show up. The region message might be there just because of Season 1, and possibly has no bearing on seeing the other two seasons, but the Language choice might.

Well, that was certainly the issue!
Both my phone and linux where on english while win 10 was in spanish. Changed the app's language in android to spanish and haikyu became available. same for ubuntu.

Thanks!
