While the forum has been arguing over the whole Trump/Clinton nonsense, I figured that we should all take a moment to discuss the things that truly matter this season: Halloween and Halloween Candy!

So, what's your favorite candy?
What candy to you do your best to throw away or even better leave behind for your parents?
How do you plan on getting your Halloween candy this year?
Do you have a funny or interesting Halloween story? If so please share

For me, I love Reese's PB Cups and snickers
I leave the Almond Joys and the Mounds for my parents.
For candy, my younger brothers usually give me some of their candy, or I get it on clearance the following day.
Wish I had an interesting story, although maybe when I finish decorating my yard this weekend I can share some pictures

I almost bought candy corn flavored hersheys..what a waste of money that would have been lol.

I bought Bertie Bott's Every-Flavored-Beans twice in my life. Once when I first met my current girlfriend in person over 10 years ago and she accidentally ate the vomit flavored candy. The second time was about 3 years ago and I told my sister I'd give her a dollar for every blind taste test of the candy but she has to really chew and swallow the candy to get paid. So that was soap, earwax, booger, vomit, rotten egg, dirt, and a few normal flavored ones in between. Best $25 I ever spent.

As for Halloween..well, I used to work as a night auditor for hotels in the city when I was a Senior in HS and my first few years in college. Halloween and St. Patrick's Day in Manhattan meant plenty of interesting occurences.

Me waiting for people to arrive for the Halloween party last night:

Definitely buying my Halloween candy - though no one ever comes by my door, so I just buy the stuff I want to eat Probably lots of Sour Patch Kids, Sweet Tarts, and Special Dark bars. I'm normally not that big on sweets, but 'tis the season and all.

If I was going to leave anything for my folks, it'd probably be Nestle Crunch bars, they like those...

Actually, probably the weirdest story I have on Halloween relates to my folks - they live out in the country, and have for the past 17-ish years. Despite being out in the middle of nowhere, they've gotten plenty of kids trick or treating, while I, mostly living in apartment complexes or in my own home, have never had a single one!

Also probably common these days, but still strikes me as odd - my town sets Halloween so that it doesn't interfere with football. Going out on a school night is fine, but you cannot touch the sacred sport!

I feel like eating a bunch of chocolate and sweets. no reason at all. This month does things to people xD

Penut butter cups, random candies. Coffee crisp, twix, sour candies are pretty good, but honestly at this point I would just buy something if I craved it. I really don't eat sweets, but I have no problem just going crazy for certain events, or once and a while. I'm definitely not a picky eater, anything will be good for me, but I always crave cookies this time of year.

Nothing really interesting. Just a bunch of kids and adults having fun being spooky and creative.

I love all kinds of candy. It just depends on the mood at the moment. This year my nephew is 2 and is speaking and making sense of his communication skills. My mom eat candy sparingly and this year I'm taking him trick or treating for the first time. YES! time for Aunty to take advantage of that little innocent face of his. We went to a cousin's birthday party and they had a pinata. All the kids were hitting it and then the candy came flying out. He was just standing there looking at everyone go crazy. I had to sneak in there and get him a few candies before all the kids took them all. Grab him a lolipop and gave it to him. It was like cloud nine for him. Should have seen the excitement in his little eyes. He ran to my sisters yelling, "MINE! MINE! My lolipop!" and starting laughing with joy. AHAHAHA! I'm soo gonna take all his candy. LOL. Just gonna leave him the unappealing ones, like Twizzlers. At least he likes Twizzlers.
