if they had common sense I would have been messaged first at least

Hey common sense is no longer common right now, instead common sense is known as special sense and please don't hold it against them for lacking those special senses to navigate and understand the world. They need all the pity they can get from themselves and others.

Self-pity is the best pity, but it is a pity best indulged in private.

Thumbs up on that.

People misuse the word or the use of "freedom of speech" nowadays.
Usually they go out of context and is totally irrelevant...

But hey, freedom of speech right?

But it's my right to freedom of speech to infringe on your freedom of speech and yell that you're violating my freedom of speech when you fight back.

Well, I'm not fighting back. I didn't mention ALL or EVERYONE. Calm down.
It's also my right to defend my perspective. I simply stated what I thought about the previous answer, nothing more.

A message board is free to moderate as they see fit, just as you are free to find a message board that gets your sense of humor.

I see 9 11 jokes and jew and hitler jokes but as soon as I expand on a joke that already existed in the community , they claim its considered "baiting" and inciting argument and im censored

As for this... I'd just point that out to people there and move on. Was it fair? Probably not. Is anything ever fair in life or online? Far from it. Best thing you can do is make your case and if things still don't go well just shrug it off.

Obviously a moderator decided you did, all it takes is one deciding that shit posting = troll posting. If it matters to you so much, perhaps you should appeal that action on that board.

I think that people who get triggered by things like this most of the time have some problems with their self esteem or they just love arguing.
To clarify what I mean... Low self esteem might not be the right word for this I'm sorry it's sometimes hard to express myself since english is not my first language but what I mean is that people who have / have had problems with things like religion, different value systems etc. sometimes unfairly discriminate on discussions, theories and arguments that use symbols from those religions or whatever.

My personal opinion is that you can make "jokes" about anything if the people at your immediate surroundings are at least somewhat okay with it, of course internet is special case in this that you can't and should not try to beware of hurting other people with your possibly offensive comments etc. there is in my opinion also responsibility on the receiving end to not get offended so easily and treat some stuff on internet as harmless "shitposting".

It's so easy to justify removing/disciplining those who "trigger" other people and make boards more "safe" and "peaceful", but in the end as I said I think that people also have the responsibility to not get triggered and being able to see things in proper proportions a.k.a what is actually worth getting triggered by.

For me the most ironic thing in this case is that those Pokemon are in fact direct references to certain biblical figures and/or concepts.

The mod was probably on a power trip and felt somehow justified in removing your post because they didn't like it.

People who aren't used to being a mod and don't have other people keep their abuse of power in check tend to do that
