I Took care of a dog for 50$ a month, and I retrieve injured animals for the Owl's Nest Sanctuary. I love doing that, but I'm a volunteer and don't get paid. But I still consider it my first real job!! :3

a job is where you are being paid for service provided .. but then again $50 a month is still payment for service provided..

Thank you for your contribution/kindness in helping the animals :)

There's also program where you can provider foster care for animal while they await adoption. This will help free up the limited shelter space.

You can check your local animal shelters regarding this program

The humane society of America is one of the places that offering this program.

a grocery store. I !@#$in hated that job, worked there for exactly one month and when they let me go I was so happy!

I had friends who worked in supermarkets while we were still in school. I hear the deli section is the best option there. Better pay and the work supposedly isn't as bad as a lot of the other jobs.

they locked up everything after hours? the cameras are still on 24/7 ?

just asking for some inside information for my next bank job

The particulars of the security system vary between sites, but in general I can assure you that they're locked down pretty tight after closing. Obviously, we knew how to bypass the main security systems but I believe the vaults generally have their own security - and are sealed tight.

Most banks preferred that we keep any loose money we found (at least within reason) because I guess there's a lot of paperwork and headache involved if we handed it over to them. Whereas my employer's policy at the time was that we were not to keep any money we found.

As a compromise, we were ordered to destroy any money we came across - which is actually a crime, but I guess nobody cared about that, so long as it's just the grunts doing it.

I have no comment as to who we listened to or what procedure we may or may not have followed with any money we may or may not have come across.

My first job was at McDonald's for like $3.25 an hour.

I quit after two weeks it was so disgusting.

Getting told by your trainer to pick that bun top up off the floor so you dont fk up the "bun square"

Oops flipped a burger on the floor, well, dont fk up the square, put it back on the grill

Skating across the nasty ooze on the floor.

Yeah, I never ate at mcdonalds after that. That place is so disgusting its not even funny.

I guess I had my first job when I was like 14-15. Like you it was just a summer position, because I had to go back to school. Anyways, I worked for a local high school for minimum wage, which at the time was like $6.00/hour. I did things such as clean the school grounds, mow the grass/weeds, and clean classrooms.

My first job was as a kitchen helper in a fine-dining Japanese restaurant headed by a world-class Japanese chef. I was managed by the chef's son, whom I was instructed to address as "Rei-senpai." I made $9.50 an hour and quit after 6 months because it was way too stressful, but will never forget all the times my senpai bought me food and coffee at the nearby café during our breaks and all the encouragement he gave me.

As a teenager, I got up at 5 am every morning to run around town making sure a bunch of people I didn't know or care about could read the news each morning with their breakfast. Yes, in classic small town America style, I was the paperboy.
