Being 24 years old, it does feel weird that most of anime fanbase is kids.

Although first Japanese "animation" is dated as far as 1917, the anime we know started at the 60's.

So, with more than 50 years of anime, there is a wide range of age among anime fans. So if you hear ppl arguing anime is just for kids or only kids watch them, they're are gruesomely wrong. :3

I don't think it's dying at all. If anything, more people use Crunchyroll than ever.
Especially now with that Crunchyroll x Funimation collaboration (Crunchyroll getting more subbed anime licensed etc), it's great.

That's what I think anyway.

I'm not sure about the comments and such since I just watch the Anime on here so I barely look at comments, but when it comes to reviews, I feel like they've never really been that big on Crunchyroll. I rarely even open the tab lol.

No you have it all wrong.

Anime died. Like getting amazing voice actors to voice over loli magic girls.

I'm too busy worrying about making something of my own than offering my opinion on the next display figure I'm going to buy.

It's tough love at this point. I'm not going to force myself to watch anime if I can't find something to enjoy about it. A 2 minute action scene with 16 minutes of nothing and 3 minutes of characters standing around. Whatever, you be you, and I'll just write my own thank you very much.

Am I the only one that doesn't leave likes or comments on a video?

As soon as I'm done, I move onto the next episode

Crunchyroll is #8 out of every streaming service out there. This includes Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. and other sites that don't just cater to the animu crowd.

I think they are fine.

It will only die if Anime dies and that is not likely to happen anytime soon.

They just started working together with Funimation. How can they be dying?

I would hate to say it but there seems to be a common consensus in my circles that this seasons anime has just not been as good as the last few. It happens, I am certain that it will pick up after the new season starts up assuming the lineup is better, still have not seen whats coming.

also what the poster above me said is a very big deal, i think funimation is the closest to dying at the moment, and that's really sad to me because in the years before crunchy-roll they were one of the only sources for people in the u.s for anime.

This reminds me of the 'WoW is dying,' or 'SWTOR is dying' threads I have been reading for years on their respective forums....
