Don't know why some people wear it. But i guess its some fashion sense which comes and go. Fashion always present the most weird stuff for the most part. Either way it doesnt make you look young, thats all i am saying.

Yes, of course.

Beauty is the reason for religious headdress.

Well whether thats the intention. Its very old fashioned. I dont think i have seen my grandmother in a headscarf, but some women in the 60s or 70s still used it i think. Its very old fashioned now though and makes me think of old people mostly

You're insulting a culture. I personally don't care because I'm not politically correct, but you are being rude in your post and your criticisms aren't funny or constructive.

Women in the middle east wear those, or more specifically Muslim women.

They have to wear it as a sign of modesty, otherwise they're seen as promiscuous.

You're insulting a piece of clothing that women are forced to wear or be seen as basically a slut.

A female news anchor in a Muslim country had to apologize for not wearing one on live TV.

You are so wrong.

Many headscarves are gorgeous and their wearers are young, and look young.

I mean seriously? You think those women in the images you just posted look old and like "grannies."

That's some odd vision you've got there

ETA: Also, even if they did make folks look like grannies. So what?

Here are some nuns in their headdress (unfortunately, the pic is so large, it gets cut off a bit):

Here's a better picture, showing different styles:

Here are some general women's styles of headdress from around the world:

Nice try and all, but those aren't the headdresses I'm talking about nor the ones the OP showed in their original post.

Not my fault that they are obliged to wear it.

I don't think "utena revolutionary girl" would be good with it. Young women should generally not have headscarves in my personal views. Those are generally ment for old people in the past, i would suggest to wait til you are 50 or something before using it. But generally young females would be better off not having one.

I though they were just speaking on headscarves in general, not just of the religious type.
