Just wondering if there are any image board frequenters who have a more "refined" taste in music. Post your current favourite album.

My current favourite:

Not on any image boards but you can't go wrong with War on Drugs though. I haven't listened to that last album in a while so now sounds like as good as time as any!

Recently I've been especially enjoying Rhythmic Sleep from Soular Order.

Just listened to Soular Order for the first time. Good stuff! Can't find Rythmic Sleep anywhere though. What are your thoughts on God Speed You Black Emperor, Mogwai, or Swans? SO seems kind of like a mix of chill and prog.

I don't mind the prog rock vein, and there are things I like from GYBE and Mogwai but my general music tendencies lean towards electronic/ambient/downtempo. I could say everything for me was borne from a classic/alternative/indie rock environment but I don't listen to or follow the scene much any longer.

A band I've just come around to after having it on my computer for so long is epic45. I love anything from them and other acts I associate with them like Remote Viewer, Donato Wharton, Dub Tractor and the Gentleman Losers (absolutely love them).

Anyway, the texture and nuances in this album are sublime. Weathering from epic45.

Edit: These two albums are on Bandcamp.

Took the time to listen to pictured album. Certainly good stuff there. I feel unqualified to say how good it is, since I haven't really ever ventured into this genre, but I enjoyed it, for what it's worth.

Say, is there any 80s lo/fi that sounds like this that anybody could recommend?

The entire internet was butchered about a decade ago.
