Just renewed my Premium subscription through Apple TV but I'm still being told I need a Premium account when I open the app, trying to subscribe again results in an error saying I already have an active subscription with that email address. The subscription is showing just fine in my iTunes account and I've already had the email from Apple saying I've subscribed.

Also, the iPhone app isn't showing my Premium account and I get a iTunes login loop when I try and resubscribed again.

Please say there's a fix and I've not wasted a months subscription

I am having exactly the same issue.....I can't get this to work on Apple TV when I subscribe through iTunes....

Does it work if you subscribe through our site instead of iTunes?

Yes, just the iTunes subscription does not work. I would like to use iTunes because it is easier for me to manage.

so like, where is my 1 year subscription??! my card will not go through. where is my anime??! i do not want anything else. i just want my anime!

can you please tell crunchyroll engineers to fix this problem. it has been 10 days since my last anime fix...!!!

Your latest renewal has failed. Your bank was unable to charge your account. You should be able to resubscribe via /premium_pick_plan?membership=premium.

The problem is that we cannot trace which account on our end a membership was applied to via iTunes. We do not have access to the iTunes billing system. If your membership was supposed to go to the account mpqholygrail, it never made it there. You probably used a different or misspelled address for your iOS device you bought the membership on.

I'm actually having a similar issue, but my account is pay through the site wit a credit card. One day the appleTV logged me out and when I try to log in it says i require a Premium Membership. Does anyone know how to fix this? reseting my AppleTV is the only thing I could think of but it did nothing.

If you're willing, https://vrv.co (a partnership venture between CR, FUNimation, and several other content production/distribution services) just launched, and it allows you to bundle your CR subscription with 7 other services for $10 bucks a month. It's a different app, and doesn't link back to your existing CR membership, but the selection for currently airing anime is pretty good, and the only show I haven't yet found from this season is Regalia, but that's a sub-only FUNi show, which is still a little unusual right now.

I bring it up because I have been having billing issues myself with CR the past couple weeks, and this new service gave me no issues when subscribing.

Ah, I'm not familiar with the Apple ecosystem, so I thought there was some equivalency between iOS and Apple TV. Seems a very poor decision to fracture their environment like that.

I use Apple TV watching Crunchyroll on TV and paid the premium on Crunchyroll site. Renewe my premium every month. Ever since the new AppleTV app rolled out this November, I can't no longer log in to Crunchyroll any more. There is no support from Crunchyroll at all. It is now 24 days after contacting Crunchyroll and I've got no response from Crunchyroll. My renewal is coming up and I will cancel my subscription and move to other service provider.
