I think it's safe to say there's people who like anime that either get straight-A's or are close to failing.
That's just how we are. They can't change us.

That actually sounds pretty accurate

Sounds pretty inaccurate to me really. I myself was a B+ average student, and most of the anime fans I personally know are also in the C+ to B+ average. Not honour roll material but far from failing.

I'm a straight-A student when it comes to my programming classes and classes that are relevant to my major, but I really struggle to motivate myself to do well in the electives I have to take so my overall GPA's kinda meh :/

A/B student, but I just don't get things, I often have to put in more work than others for the same results. It's frustrating sometimes, but if you get to the same destination I guess it pays off in the end.

I was the silent ghost student, back in school, my teachers had the habit of marking me down absent when I was in class x.x I guess my presence was hidden mostly.

I just do average or enough to get by. I can't be bothered to do more than I'm needed.

Tho I somehow get A's in mostly every class (except Any type of math any type of english as I tend to be horrible at writing)

o! Nearly the same except i'm horrible at mathematics and writing seems to be my strong suit.

I won't egg myself on to do more than i'm required, it's nonsense!

Use to be an honor roll student, but then started college and whew! Hard work for sure, but definitely possible with enough time and patience. Normally, Associates are a two year journey, but mine is about to hit the fourth. The good news is currently finishing my last semester of the associates. The degree is called Computer Information Systems. Hopefully these are still worth as much as I thought they were when i started. Still not done yet, Bachelor's you're next. I'm hoping that will be completed before reaching 30 years old.

To all the students who get their school done efficiently and promptly with those beautifully achieved A's, you intelligent beasts have amazing minds keep up the great work!

I just like studying, no other activities, which is why I hate school since you have to join a club or do some other out-of-school activity.
(also I hate English)

You a straight A student with a perfect record or the type who wants to drop out. I'm just curious to see which side has more people in it.

I used to be straight A but things are getting rocky right now

I'm the lazy student. I get my shit done but usually I procrastinate. I have two skills that have kept my GPA afloat. I am good at taking tests (which are usually a significant portion of the grade) and very well versed in the skill of spinning bullshit during multi-page essays and reports.

I'm a lazy student. I have photographic memory and attempt to do everything over night, but they usually do not come out well, tip is get partial credit for everything even if you have the wrong answer

Straight A I guess? My gpa is 4.0, but I just couldn't care less about school. I'm the typical awkward loner that shows no interest in any class.. I wish I could do online school though, but I've been recommended not to...

I get along with teachers and classmates, but I don't really have any close friends... only people that are just there.

Always been somewhere in the lower middle with most grades. Never cared about school really, only studied for my parents. A very good student when I bothered to show up, always did everything I was told to do so not really a teachers nightmare in that sense. Just always late, absent, never did anything home. In high school only really tried with subjects I actually cared about with almost no studying in the whole first year.

I was a good student in high school (A's and B's), and a great one in college (mostly A's). Like a lot of others, I really didn't have to study that much. I could pay little to no attention in class, but pass tests just by going home and studying or reading what I needed to. In the classes where teachers did "reviews" the day before the test, I was crushed it. I liked a lot of it; math, the sciences, Social Studies, Civics, US History, World History, lunch.

English & Literature, not so much. I hated writing essays on boring books, I talking about you Emily Brontë. The Lord of the Flies, The Odyssey and Animal Farm were good books. For the boring books, than goodness for CliffsNotes.

I know I'm not exactly "smart", but I was pretty much a D-C average student. I would never hand in any of my assignments, they just felt like extra work. Just give me a test review and let me be on my way, don't just give me 7-8 individual pages and expect me to care enough to do them all and turn them in on one set due date.
