YES. Because it's better than real life!
Jk. You should game because it's fun, it makes people happy, and is a good way to socialize NOT in real life (I support talking in real life more than chats in games). MMO's are my life. :3

yes, people should game. structured play not only introduces children to rules and abstract concepts like teamwork in a way that's fun for them but is also able to help brains function better in general.
also, to the person who says games are great for socializing not in real life, I beg to differ. board games and lan parties are great ways to socialize and game in the real life

Eh honestly I think it is a healthy way to escape the restraints of the real world and do things you otherwise couldn't do, like fly or do some crazy stunts.

Obviously, not all games give as positive of a message as others, but I do think it is a healthy way to spend one's time in moderation.

Of course, if a person is letting gaming consume their finances and their life it should be addressed.
