I told my coworker that the "yuuuge" show is over

The "Campaign version" of Trump was nowhere to be seen

The live commentators across the networks were all actually praising the speech

The English-version French news was saying the same

The speech was good.

"This was tough. This political stuff is nasty, and it is tough."

He cracks me up.

I will give him a chance, there's no point in getting mad.

I'm actually glad Hillary is out of the picture now.

I watched it. Heh, his kid looked like he was about to fall asleep on his feet. It was quite late at that point.

And yeah, he was diplomatic in his victory speech, which is wise.

Nopers

He knows how to put on a show, literally

All the stuff about him "not knowing how to be presidential"? False, because "presidential" is another routine

I took note of it, last night when I watched his speech, but watching it again through your link, namealreadytaken, only confirmed what I thought I saw. He thanked everyone on his left, while Mike Pence and his family stood alone on his right. Also, he didn't thank Mike Pence within his speech, but afterward, as though it was an afterthought.

What do you think about that?

Well the popular opinion seems to be that Pence was put there by the GOP as sort of a leash for Trump, considering that he really isn't one of them. Maybe it just goes to further that notion.
