So everyone should know Australia has a reputation for piracy...well alot of that is due to the fact of

Accessibility + cost.

In Australia 1 usd = 77 cents (Now 76) which doesn't seem bad till you look at a movie and realize we pay $100 aud for a game $76 usd this is for most games.

Now all said and done one could argue well we get paid more but its been argued alot and again and again its shown that we have a higher cost of living so that higher pay equals out and Australians get what we call the "Australian" tax for many US products.

Now because of this we have a TON of pirates....now thing here is now Trump is in the dollar has gone down in Australia and will continue to go down.

Trump is against free trade and wants tarriffs for exporting so put this into the mix.

Basically what you have is any Australian wanting to get a movie or Game that is already overpriced here will have to pay a shit ton more.

That alone is what is going to bring the country into what i see as the great Australian pirate era

(some of this was sarcasm and this is not fact merely my prediction of how my country will be impacted when it comes to my hobbies)

Trump is NOT AGAINST FREE TRADE. He's against NAFTA and TPP. NAFTA is already in effect, TPP hasn't been agreed to, yet. The way those treaties have been worded, has caused nearly 70,000 factories to close their doors in the U.S. and go to Mexico or China, or some other country. TPP would have done the same thing, but around the Pacific Rim.

Trump wants fair free trade. The tariffs are for companies that closed their factories in the U.S. moved overseas to to produce the same product to be shipped back to the U.S. So, for example, Ford closed a factory in Michigan, and opened a new factory in Mexico. When they start shipping those cars back to the U.S. for sale, they'll get slapped with a 35% tariff.

My misunderstanding then that is good

Also, the prices of Australia are 100% Australia's fault.

The oompa loompa hates Mexicans and minorities, and likes white countries like Russia and Australia, so you don't have to worry if you live in a white nation.

Good luck with that not like Trump has much leverage to begin with to get those companies back. Too many workers in the U.S. whine and whine about paid vacation, health benefits that its such a turn off for manufacturers to work in the US; so might as well move where the labor is cheap. Unless people don't mind working below minimum wage with zero health benefits or any benefits at all. I mean if you want you could even dispose of the worker's union although that might be a bit more tough.

You guys should talk to Trump about a free trade agreement where we both win and neither lose. Then your welcome to free trade with us.

Please do not mention "Australian pirates", you'll only remind me of the day I actually spent money to see 1982's "The Pirate Movie".

(Don't blame me, we didn't have the official Linda Ronstadt/Kevin Kline "Pirates of Penzance" movie for another six months, and we didn't think we'd ever get one!)
