I prefer android because I like having the freedom to install non app-store apps without jailbreaking my phone and really overall freedom to do a lot of things iphone doesn't allow.

I mean it's my phone that I bought with my money, don't tell me what I can and can't do with it.

Iphones are simpler to use, but I personally don't get intimidated by complicated machinery, so I don't really care.

The only time I'll switch to an Android phone again is when Samsung does this

If Samsung comes out with foldable phones/tablets, I'll stop getting iPhones.

I've had every single iPhone since the beginning. Whether it's been for a week or not. That includes the Plus versions as well. I have to say, no matter how good they try to make the software. I always seem to migrate back to an android, while I wait for a new iPhone...even though the iPhone's of late haven't been too amazing.

not quite...but close enough?

[Samsung] is expected to release a bendable smartphone next year, according to reports.
...
Bending a phone in half makes it easier to carry around, and the phone's inwardly curved design could comfortably hug your cheek.

I'd get that Samsung concept if I could root, and install a different rom.
TouchWiz is about as bad as an Android OS can be in my opinion.

Throw-away Androids. Nothing expensive, and no contracts.

I'm using some android phone imported from China, it works as well as an iphone 5 (I think) but 50% cheaper than the 5, and even has fingerprint recognition. I can't afford iphones, well technically, I can afford it, but it's more like I don't want to waste money on a piece of junk I rarely use.

Once I'm home, I get on my laptop, I can't stand looking at phone's screen. It's only good for commuting to work. However, if you like to use apps, I recommend iphones, because some apps don't work with androids, I even thought about buying iphone 5 just to use a singing game app I play all the time, but it doesn't work well on androids at all. But the shipping fee was $19 and I was like, screw it, it's not that important.

What I hate about iphones is the stupid syncing itunes for music, I want to import music freely into and out of my phone, I don't want to have to sync stupid shit all the time. I hate that about apple. Stop this syncing business, it's annoying. Sometimes your computer crash, and you're like...where do you sync this shit to?

Anyway, bottom line is...I'm using android for now.

Android. I don't mind iOS, but I don't really like Apple's products. I can get a lot of different brands and stick with Android, so I prefer it. Right now, I have a Samsung, but I can get a new phone next month and I'll probably get a Google Pixel.
Gets It.

Tablet: iPad Pro - iOS
Phone: LG v20 - Android

I've always preferred Android phones, but the Android ecosystem for tablets is pretty weak. But I do prefer Android for everything else, just because it feels more user-friendly (in terms of myself). iOS always feels too restrictive and doesn't work the way I want it to work, without having to break things (essentially).
