Not really, I use to lit candles at the church my adoptive father and Sophie use to go to. But that was before they kicked me out for liking boys as much as I like girls.

The closest thing to candles I burn is that festive winter incense. I love the herby and smoky smell they make. That and the Fisherman smoking a pipe. Just very quaint.

During power outages, yes.

When there's a blackout, otherwise no. It's a fire hazard. I can't believe some people would light candles outside their homes and leave it there unattended. It's absolutely ignorant. This is how "Final Destination" shit starts happening, when people start being careless.

What other use would you have for candles?

Actually nevermind, don't want to know.

Sometimes, but I like the lighting they give off, it always feels so melancholy in a way.

I think it's because I was raised as a Catholic Ukrainian. Sometimes we would light a candle for a dead family member, and just watch it for a while, or the process of lighting certain candles before a service. Its funny, looking back, candles remind me of unity. Something that I cherish in a way, a silent dim light that has more meaning than most things in this world, and for the life of me I cant explain why.
