Hal looked at her, he thought for a bit before finally speaking. "I wish you luck then..." He looked to her a bit more before standing up and looking down at Ciren after the last bit Luna had said.

"Hm?" Ciren looked back up to him curiously.

Hal looked back to Luna and sighed. "By yourself? You're gonna try that kinda thing on your own?"

Figured he had more to say so she stuck by, she nodded confidently, "I've been on my own for some years, I'm sure I can handle myself. Should I need help, I'll hire a mercenary if I need to." Luna sighed, and looks up at the sky just as a dragon flew over them, but wasn't hostile, "travelling further then what I'm use to-- figured it was time to come out of my comfort zone." she looked back at the two, "and wish you well, now I must be off to deliver these materials. Perhaps one day we'll meet again under better circumstances." with that she started to walk the grassy trail back towards the road.

Upon exiting the entrance to the Hive Atronox had to stop for a moment to take in the sudden change of scenery.. it had been 11 years since he had seen a blue sky and breathed clean air... He took a deep breath. He felt exhilarated and honestly a little frightened, he had no idea where to go or what to do.. He pulled the hood of his cloak up over himself, luckily it was a large hood, almost as if it was made for him as it drooped and covered most of his face, which he hoped would be enough to hide his heritage. He wasn't sure if he should follow the road, or go and ask for directions from one of the merchant camps... he figured the road would eventually lead to a town and that would probably afford him a better starting place than the camp. He began to head down the road.

"Wait a minute." He followed after and bowed to Luna. "Hire me then. It may be a little selfish but I have my own reasons for ridding the Dark Circle." Hal was quiet for a moment before continuing, "I am a mercenary, however something like this would not require payment for me. It would be payment enough to allow me to help."

Ciren stood behind her uncle and looked up to him then over to Luna.

She stops and looked at the man, then sighed at how conveniently she meets a mercenary, and the kind that'd work for free. Perhaps travelling alone for so long is enough, but then again getting close to anyone like before is gonna hurt her more, best keep the professionalism between the three of them. "you do not have some place to be?" before she confirms she wanted to know if they were actually fine with the arrangement.

Hal nodded, "I'll have to quickly deliver these materials first though." He looked down at himself then back at Luna and smiled, "Ah, I know-- I don't look like a mercenary." He looked down to Ciren, "I'll head over to the village. It's nearby here and meet up with you once I am done."

Atronox continued to walk down the road as dusk began to fall, up ahead in the distance he began to see lights, he figured it must be the village. As he got closer he could tell it was most certainly the village. He began to have doubts and second guess his decision to leave the hive, honestly he was just afraid to interact with others. He decided he would wait for a bit, till nightfall maybe, when there was a higher chance of less people being about, so he could get his bearing of the town. He stepped off the road and climbed into a nearby tree to listen and wait.

She looks towards the child, then back at the man, "meet me at the road, shouldn't be hard to miss." with that Luna heads off without anything else to say, and continued her trail.
After she made her deliveries she already plan to head to a nearby town for the rest of the day, perhaps get some information about the Dark Circle and where they'll be doing their rituals next, the group plans their rituals timely in certain places, stopping some of their rituals should help slow down their process of resurrection. She continued to plan ahead in her mind as she went off.

The two arrived in the nearby village and approached the hut of a shaman. "Excuse me miss? It's me, Wolrick." He noticed the old lady approach him. "Ah, here are the materials you asked for." He handed her the small bag and smiled.

"Goodness, thank you kind sir." She took the bag, heading into her hut. She gestured for them to follow her inside, she looked over to him smiling. "You know what these materials are for?"

Hal and Ciren followed the woman into her hut. He looked to the bag for a bit then back to the shaman. "No ma'am can't say I do."

"They're for making a certain kind of charm."

"A charm?"

She nodded and walked over to several spear heads, hanging on her walls. "Yes a charm for weapons to kill those that aren't human, elves or dwarves. The dark kin... Vampires, demons, werewolves... even mutts." She looked back and smiled to him, "if you stay we can give one to you."

Hal stayed quiet and closed his eyes. Finally he spoke. "No thank you ma'am."

"...." Ciren began feeling uneasy.

"Child, what's wrong?" She looked over, noticing Ciren's discomfort. "Are you scared of the dark kin?"

Ciren stayed silent and tightly clung to Hal.

"Thank you ma'am but we must get moving on to the next place." With that Hal turned around with Ciren and left the hut. He looked down to Ciren and spoke softly, "are you okay?"

She nodded. As they walked together, her grip on her uncle's hand tightened slightly.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you."

Luna walked along the road in the meantime heading towards the place the travelling merchant made her stop in, with the bag at her waist she sighed. She glances to her side noticing the Hive even from her view. She didn't say much, as per usual, but now that she might have some company she wondered how it was gonna fair.
Suddenly she heard hounds barking in the distance which startled her, she stops and closes her eyes, rubbing her temples.

A shadow loomed over her from above, she opens her eyes and looks up seeing that it was the same dragon as before. "I heard there are even half dragons living among us, I wonder if it's true."

In the Distance Atronox heard the beating of wings, he looked over in the direction and sure enough there on the horizon was a dragon flying around, "I need to make friends with a dragon one of these days, it would be rather fun to fly on a dragons back... Or maybe with a dragon." He paused and extended his own wings, they were small, though he could flap them they were not big enough to lift him of the ground, but he remembered his dad and how he would always enter a room in a flurry of wings.. it had been menacing. "If there's one thing we had stayed long enough for me to learn, it's how to use these wings, as it is they're just a decorative piece that if I don't keep flush against my back give me away... Little did he know his wings were also his greatest defense, as they we're for all demons as they could deflect most anything including magical attacks.

The sun was progressively getting lower in the sky, but Atronox had become anxious, he decided to go ahead and head into the village and see what he could learn, so he climbed down the tree and began on his way.

After leaving the village, Hal began heading to the road, where Luna had told him to meet her. He looked down at Ciren, "Are you getting tired?" He stopped for a bit.

She rubbed her eyes, and nodded. "Yeah..."

He smiled and rubbed her head. "Here then." Hal then bent down, with his back to Ciren. "Hop on."

Ciren smiled a bit and nodded. She climbed onto her uncle's back and held on tightly.

"Alright, let's get going!" He looked back to her and smiled. With Ciren on her back, he continued on.

She had met with the old travelling merchant on the road and made her deliveries, the closes place for rest was Raygrove, but she trails long the road in plan sight so the other two would be able to spot her before she disappears into the forest between Raygrove and the Hive.

Luna walks along, while munching on some fruit minding her own business as she came by a group of soldiers with a person they seem to capture along the road. With people like them it's best to stay out of their way. She glances as she passed them, but took a good look at the prisoner whom appears to be in terrible condition. She looks back forward and sighed.

As Atronox got closer to the village, he suddenly got a whiff of the vampire child from the hive earlier, he looked over to the direction of her smell and saw her and Hal leaving the Village. "Hmm no idea where they're going, but chances are they'd be more inclined to help me than people in the village, besides they already know what I am." He decided he would follow them from a distance, after all the child had seemed rather afraid of him and he didn't want to frighten her again, or give reason to provoke Hal. He'd make himself known at an opportune moment, or just follow them until they came upon a city that would offer him a more solid chance of gathering the information he needed than this town. And with that Atronox trailed a good distance behind Hal and Ciren, following largely by smell more than sight.

Hal paused for a bit, feeling uneasy. However, seeing nothing, he shook off the feeling and kept going. I'm probably just being overly anxious... He continued on, with Ciren on his shoulders. He finally spotted Luna, "Ah, Miss Luna!" He looked up to Ciren, "Hold on a little." He lightly jogged over to Luna, making sure Ciren stayed put ontop. He was about to say something when he noticed her looking over to the prisoner. "Hmm..."
