Yes, I'm sure he'll do that while being in the position to funnel untold amounts of money into his businesses.

The point is that we're going to continue to have rampant Cronyism with Trump. The irony isn't lost on me at all.
Trump is a businessman first, president second. You think he wouldn't bargain with lobbyists to ensure that they "look out" for his businesses while they're being managed/operated by his children? Good luck.

I agree it's the transitioning team and they'll be gone at the team of his inauguration. However, this only sets the precedence for his term in office. Make all the excuses you want. He may have been the "lesser of evils" for conservatives but he sure as hell isn't going to do anything to kill off cronyism in the government.

You seem to think everyone is a dishonest criminal like Clinton, Obama and all their political pals.

The point isn't that he'd get away with it. By all means, please explain to me how this isn't a massive conflict of interest. I really don't want to see the presidential office to be tarnished that stupidly.

You seem to think that Trump hasn't been a close friend of the Clintons for decades and that he has absolutely zero ties to any of the stuff that he claimed that he would "fix". I don't think everyone is a "dishonest criminal". Trump? Yeah, he's no better than the people that those who voted for him were trying to get rid of in the government. Congress and Trump will continue to profit off of lobbyists and their cronyism. Nothing new - look at his transition team. They're either lobbyists or relatives, go figure?

So nothing of substance and an empty deflection, thanks.

So President-elect Trump has released details for his transition team. And I need a little help understanding how this is supposed to work with his previous claim that he would hand his companies over to his kids to prevent a conflict of interest. If his kids are going to be this involved in his transition to the presidency, how does this not breach any appearance that there are conflicts of interests with those business holdings?

I'm sure you would have had a real problem with chelsea being part of hillary's transition team, and not throwing your hands up going what? I dont see what the problem is?

How about letting the man first take office and see what he accomplishes in a few years, before we review his performance as President?

I would have questions about Chelsea's continued involvement in their non-profits and other holdings. But since it's Trump who's moving into the Whitehouse, I've love to know how in the world this won't turn into a big scandal.

Trump applied to the wrong job for that kind of luxury.

Hey, just like the Republicans were back when Obama first voted - I'm allowed to have a "theory" as to how his presidency will be.
However, I'm actually challenging him as a person and not so much on his presidency. He's been part of the crony capitalism that people have been complaining about for decades now. Unless he's decided that he is willing to play "hardball" and let his businesses suffer so that he won't have anything to go to after his run as president, I don't think he's going to change that much.

Hillary Clinton had no conflict of interest when she was secretary of state and sold access to the state department for billions in donations to her Organized Crime Foundation? Oh.
Gets It.

Exactly my point. Thanks for proving it for me.
Trump and Clinton have been friends for ages now. I'm not saying that Clinton is free of corruption, nor have I ever said that. My statement is that Trump is part of the corruption that he's stated that he'll "do away with". I'm not defending Clinton, so don't get that kooky idea in your head either.
