I just have to say that I live in one of the most Liberal and Democratic states in the US, Vermont, and we voted for Hillary in our state, yet there have been no violent protests to my knowledge in my state. I'm not saying that people haven't been protesting Trump being elected, because I haven't heard of anything either way, but if there had been violence about it I'm sure I would have heard about that. I'm just glad that I live in a more civilized state than some and don't have to worry about violence like that happening around me.

You live in the liberal areas that have guns and can use them. If people tried that shit in your state they would get SHOT.

If they tried to do what, exactly? I checked one of my local news websites to see if people were protesting about Trump becoming President after I posted that because I was curious, and people did protest outside of our largest city's City Hall on Friday, and nothing violent happened. Not sure if the protest is still going on or not, but it looks like it was a peaceful protest. And I highly doubt that anyone offered to pay them either.

I guess you haven't seen the videos: https://twitter.com/itsmikebivins/status/796946492032450560

Protesters attack pregnant woman not even involved in this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJkjLoZuxbQ

I haven't watched any of the videos really, no, but I do know what's happening between the forum threads on here and the other news on the internet. I was asking what you meant by if people tried to do something in my state. Do you mean something violent instead of just peaceful protesting? I'm kind of confused now.

Sounds like someone is organizing and paying a fortune to create a protest/riot in Los Angeles. Get your guns, swords, and weapons ready. These protests/riots have been getting violent lately. Be prepared to protect yourself and your property. I hope nothing serious happens as a result of this but after the DNC paying for violent protests against Trump in the primaries nothing is impossible now.

Stay safe Californians.

That just means the rioters need to be fined $1000 dollars.

To my knowledge the only protest that's been violent has been the Portland one. A friend of mine went and livestreamed from a safe distance last night for a couple hours, looked pretty damn frightening. I think the police force out there issued a statement after last night that it was a band of anarchists that realized they could get away with crap because of the crowds (and a lot of them had been arrested because protesters and people like my friend that were gawking on the sidelines were sending pictures and vid in for the police to ID). I checked out Chicago's the other day out of curiosity and it was perfectly peaceful (and actually one of the local papers reported today about how nice the peaceful protests were). The NYC one was when another friend checked that one out too.

The things I'm honestly afraid of aren't the protests, it's how awful people are treating each other on both sides. I've seen a lot of video and heard a lot of things from all over the country (both from friends and just coming across stuff on the internet) and tensions are rising, it's getting downright dangerous. So far at my work all we've had to deal with are people defacing books and magazines with Trump or Hillary on them, but outside of work one of my black friends was screamed at by large men as she was walking downtown yesterday and I fear things like that will happen more often in the future.

Maybe they can buy themselves a ticket to Canada with all that protest money. I'm sure Canada will gladly take in our liberal garbage.

People leaving on the drop of a hat aren't patriots.

If they dispute that, then they could look up the definition for the term.

Those are the people threatening to leave America. Although I wish the scumbags can leave, the reality is, no country would take them if they file for immigration. They're people who suck on welfare and never tried to find a job anyway. So they don't care if there's a felony charge on them. Rioting is a felony. #BuildThatWall
