internet is pretty much a necessity now a day

some of the major internet providers raised the data cap recently... but that's after they increased the price

1hr of 4K streaming will eat up 8-9GB of data

and if you have 4-5+ people in the house using the internet on a daily basis-- reaching the data cap is pretty easy

they will have deals for new customers but the price went up in most areas

i started out with $30/month (promotional price) but now it's $50/month for the same speed

i heard that google optic is coming to the area .. but after 2-3 years nothing yet

in South Korea they have 100Mbps internet plan for a fraction of the price!

we are behind some countries when it comes to internet speed and price!

how about $30 for 100Mbps ? they are pushing 4K in the TV/pc/console departments and with streaming being the future claim-- yet we don't have the data cap or speed to make it mainstrain

I pay $450 for my phone bills at verizon. I don't pay for internet home bills, so I pay $450 for 100gb data.

I'm in New Zealand, so I will convert to the *universal currency* of the United States Dollar :3

At the moment Gigabit Fibre wholesale prices are around $40, but you'll most likely be paying around $60, which is what I'm paying.
That's $40-$60 for Unlimited Gigabit Fibre.

170MB/s down for ~$100 I think. It's bundled with the TV and home phone and I never look at the individual parts of the bill.

Where I live there are 4 major players that provide internet. After talking to local gamers and other IT folks about speed and reliability I chose Mediacom which runs $65.00/month. Their bundle service (phone, cable, internet) is a gyp unless 1 is a newbie to them then the intro price is quite reasonable.

Where I used to live I tried to get AT&T / SBC to run a line out to my area so I could get decent service, cheaper cost. I lived out in the country there. At the time of request their nearest line was 6 miles away and I was stuck with Mediacom...boohoo. Five years later when I inquired AT&T said I was still too far away. In 5 years time their line got extended 150 yards closer. Phftttt.

I'm currently paying around $85 for 100Mb/s through Spectrum (was Time Warner). My promotional pricing of $65 expired long ago and I can't switch. However, I'll be switching to AT&t's Gigabit fiber when I move into my house. I think that's going to be around $120.

As far as I know my internet company doesn't have data limit's and what not. It's just one set price. Only thing is paying for 15 MBPS for 50 dollars a month. So not really worth the price at all only thing is only internet we can get where I live. So have to deal with the ridiculous price and slow speed (in my opinion)

I have 100Mbps for $100 a month, with no data limit. I dont have a choice, since its part of my HOA fee. There is google fiber in my neighborhood but I dont think my building will pay to switch

About $28 USD for 200mbps a month. Oh, that does not include anything except for Home Wifi/Fiber plans.
