For this fall season I have played Dragon Quest Builders, Civilization VI, World of Final Fantasy, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization.

Between the time I beat a console game and the release of the next one, I sometimes play Civilization to fill in the gap.

The next two games I want to play are SD Gundam G Generation Genesis and Final Fantasy XV. The gap between now and the release of the first of these two games is about 9 days.

What would you do if you were like me?

Have you played The Witcher 3? Probably my favorite current gen game. I have Dragon Age Inquisition (which got stellar reviews) but I haven't had the chance to play it yet.

Currently not playing anything but if I felt like I had nothing to play, I would either binge on some anime or bring out my good old standby:

I typically don't go out of my way to get all the achievements or trophies, but I had to show Ninja Gaiden who's boss

Over the years, I've bought way too many bargain bin games (<10$ new), so waiting for games to be released in order to have something to play is not something that can happen.

However, if I don't feel like playing anything, I still have large backlogs of books / manga / anime / tv shows to keep me busy.

Or you could throw yourself together a budget gaming pc . Then hit up Steam and G.O.G . for the sales . Steam also has lots of free to play titles & started game giveaways . So has Origin , Uplay and G.O.G . You can also get the Nekopara games there cheap , then install the "patches" !

The cycle is...

Guitar --> Anime ---> Game --> Guitar ---> Anime ---> Game....you get the point.

For me, if I'm in a position where I'm out of games that I feel like playing I'll just do something else. That's mainly because I still have a pretty decent library of stuff I've played and enjoyed and a backlog of stuff I'm interested in and am just waiting to be in the mood for. If I don't feel like playing something I already have then I probably don't really feel like playing anything and if I forced myself to play something I doubt I'd enjoy it anyway.

With an ever growing backlog, I'm never too short on games. If I get bored with one, I just push it back and move to something else.

this is impossible for me

i have psone/ps2/ps3 games i didn't get around to play

the list of backlog is getting longer and longer by the day

the only time i'll run out of game to play is to have an abiility to slow down time-- like the special training room in dragon ball?

maybe i can bring my game system there and play for 10-20 hours while it's only 1 hour or so in the real world ?

that is like a dream comes true for me

Impossibility. But if that ever were to be the case. I would have to buy more games.

I watch tv or anime until I come across a game that catches my attention
