Its a little hard to say now due to the fact there's not much of info on the switch - at least to me.Just a lot of speculatiom but the big appeal with switch would be portability. To be honest I think the ps4 or sony generally has more support for anime games... The next monster hunter might be multi platformed as devs discussed especially considering the us caters to ps4 and xbone at the moment. Considering there's going to be a hollywood movie for monster hunter as well supposedly.

I alreay have the ps4 and feel no need to switch to pro at the moment. So I guess if it were up to me I'd get switch since they promised more third party support and I like stuff portable. I don't see Neptunia being on it though. The switch news is still up in the air and wont be out till next year.

This is just my opinion though.

TBH I think it should depend if you have a PS4 already or not.

Ill put off getting a PS4 Neo until our PS4 dies I think. Unless it has exclusives later on.

Long story short, personally get a Switch first. But before that a NES classic

The PS4 does seem to have quite a lot of the games I want. I'd be awfully pissed though if the next Animal Crossing/MonHun came exclusively for the Switch though.

LF> PS4 game recommendations atm

If you don't have a PS4 I would pick one up. Just get a normal one and maybe the difference in price plus a bit of saving could score a switch as well!

I actually might be able to afford both if the Switch isn't expensive as balls

Okay, so... coming from someone who has the "PS4 Pro" (Neo), I can tell you that it's a pretty awesome system in terms of graphics (for a console, at least). Just as an example, this is taken with the PS4 Pro (Watch Dogs 2): http://imgur.com/a/9tl4s

On the flip side, there aren't ever going to be exclusive games for the PS4 Pro. The standard/base PS4 and the PS4 Pro will share all games, just that there will be games that are "optimized" for the PS4 Pro (either 4K/30fps and/or 1080/60fps patches for the game). So if you're trying to make sure you can purchase both the Nintendo Switch and a PS4 - go with the PS4 Slim. You'll have access to the library of games that are available for the PS4, you'll still get HDR output (which is available for all versions of PS4), the only downside is that you won't get better graphics/more stable fps (depending on the game; so far, not many have opted to make a 1080/60fps patch for their games and have only left the 4K @ 30fps as their go-to patch).

The Nintendo Switch has its list of pros and cons as well; however, personally, I'll probably aim to get one of them as well (around my birthday in May, probably). I'm not so focused on it that I have to have it, just haven't had a Nintendo console since the original Wii ("The New Nintendo 3DS" is a handheld system - so not really considering that in the equation). I don't think I'm going to be aiming for a launch purchase, just because I'm curious to see how development for it is for the first month or two before picking one up.
