So it always annoys me to see people always happy whether it be a relationship ( i hate seeing those and tend to avoid going in public so i don't have to see that) or people smiling 24/7.

I honestly hate it and wish i saw more frowns i mean frowns are sad and bad but the amount of happy people smiling all the time around me makes me feel sick and it just feels artificial.

I have only noticed one person ever stand out and they were someone who were not putting on a fake smile.

I dunno it just bugs me and after recent events in my life i have stopped going out nearly full stop due to how much it all annoys me

But is it worth it to be happy all the time?
Being sad is also nice balance is best is it not?

I mean, I agree with starshots.. I wish I was as happy as them (if their happiness is genuine, of course..)

On the other hand, I get kinda sad when I see lots of happy people because I am far from it..

So ya.. I don't hate it but I don't really like it that much either..but that's just because of personal problems haha I would never wish people unhappy because of my own unhappiness.

Same. There's nothing wrong with being happy, and you shouldn't hate others just because they're happy and you're not.

I don't hate them i just hate that they act so happy all the time in public it's sickening to see and just makes people who aren't happy feel depressed.

Hence why i have locked myself away inside for months on end.

I've been locked away for years now, and I still don't resent others for being happy while I'm not.

To answer your questions.

F*** Yes and F*** No

Life isn't a Bob Ross skit.; you don't need cloudy days to enjoy the sunny ones. Being happy is good for your health. Sadness is just an obstacle you're occasionally forced to overcome to achieve happiness but you don't need sadness in the balance. It just happens to be a thing that exists, sucks and we all unfortunately have to deal with.

Listen I feel for ya bro, you know I do. But you've gotta find your way out of this slump; it's not healthy.

I'm not going to pretend I know your situation but your outlook & perception on those around you isn't a healthy one. It sounds like you have some kind of jealousy issue seeing others happy while you feel inadequate. There's nothing wrong with feeling that way and I don't think this is uncommon. I dealt with similar feelings as a teen. But you certainly don't want to too feel like this forever.

It's obvious your life needs some kind of change. Do you feel like you're in a slump? Maybe a change of environment, friends, job, working out?

Not sure if anyone else told you, but often, we appear more happy than we actually are.

Someone could very well think the same about you. Happiness is considered a positive quality, so we fake it in public.

Most people have some unhappiness. Some self doubt and insecurity. Troubles. Worries. Hardships.

So, don't worry about being as happy as others appear. Worry about being as happy as you can honestly be.

I live in a terrible town and i can't get out of it until 4 more years of studying.

I have no friends because people here bore me to shit and i can't see those who are happy romantically without feeling annoyed (being cheated on 5+ times and then recently having your feelings played with will do that to you.)
