It's not weird to have many.

I also have zero.

Currently I have 30ish
Idk
But i don't think it's weird
I mean it's a hobby, better for me to collect figures then go out and waste my money on alcohol

Well, here's the thing. Having anime figures in general, regardless of how many, is solely going to depend on the person who sees them. if they're also into anime, they probably won't bat an eye. If that person knows nothing about anime, they'll probably think it's a bit weird.

So really, it's not about having so many, but more about the person who sees them.

Not weird at all, but my brother did give me an odd look for having a Shimakaze figurine. Anyway, I have 5 figures.

0, they look cool, but at $100 a pop I'm good.

They're expensive, so I can't see me owning any kind of anime figures in the near future. The only thing I see myself spending money is Steam, even if I will NEVER play the games I buy.

I feel the same way. I've put one or two in my cart before, and then I instantly start thinking "well I could actually get 2 new anime for the same price..." or something else along those lines.

Personally for me, I look at how much they cost & think "I could buy about ten manga volumes for this price."

To me, it's what the figures may depict that determines if the collection is weird, not the number of figures. I have one, and two more are preordered. They're all Touken Ranbu PVC scale figurines; Kogitsunemaru, Munechika, and Nakigitsune. I currently have Kogitsunemaru in my possession. To be honest, I didn't start becoming familiar with Touken Ranbu until after I got my hands on the figure. It's the aesthetics of the figures that appeal to me, first and foremost. I refuse to buy figures with a price tag of more than $200, however.

I like the way you think. This is basically how the number of Nisekoi volumes I have grew so quickly.

If you can no longer move around in your dwelling, you have a problem. Before that, as long as you clean and polish them, who cares?

42.

Just kidding. I guess there's probably some point where one's figures occupy more space in their house than any other category of object (including furniture). That's the point I'd probably call it "weird", but not in a bad way. Just abnormal, I guess.

As for me, I don't have a single figure. Nothing against them - I've just never been interested in them.
