I like to place items, randomly, in random locations. It lends itself to a certain aesthetic. To some, the randomness seems chaotic until they start to see the "order within the supposed chaos."

NOTE:

That's my girlfiend, singing a song on our kareoke machine.

You must really like spongebob.

She's the Spongebob fan. I have to put up with it.

And she LOVES kareoke. Even when I have to get some sleep, she won't stop singing.... Wonder what'll happen if I unplug the kareoke machine......?

I have a few contemporary paintings and art prints on display. All framed because it would be stupid/fucked up to tape them to the wall.

I have several anime statues/cards on glass display and a few vinyl/sofubi toys on the shelves. I'm lucky enough to have a fiance who likes collecting them as well.

Hmm never really thought about it. All my room consists of are cobwebs, unfinished walls, some holes I can see light through, a stripped concrete foundation floor and a mattress on the ground in a corner. The concrete is nice and cool in the summertime. Sometimes I lay on it to cool down after a hot day at work. Gotta be careful not to fall asleep though, it will turn you into a popsicle.

Currently have a lot of posters all over the walls; mostly anime, a miku expo 2016 wallscroll, and one band poster. The anime posters are taped on bc living in california where you never know when the supposed "big one" will strike, I don't need to be knocked out by a framed attack on titan poster falling off the wall lmao. I'm also the queen of disney plushies, so there's lots of those floating around my room. It's pretty plain imo.

I want my room to look pretty but wacko. A lamp that literally looks like a sun, a waffle on a plate with a spoon floating in the air pouring jam onto the waffle, a naked girl holding up a saucer, stuff like that in a teenage style bedroom filled with DVDs and books.

I have a couple calendars here and there, but mainly the walls are covered with fabric posters. I have quite a few photographs and snow globes decorating my room as well. Books are left scattered all over the place. I really need to reorganize my room.

I'm rather fond of my room. It's my little cave.

My room is basically like an eccentric mess with lots of random items including part of a mannequin.
As for wall decor; dream catchers over my bed, Slipknot poster, detour sign I stole, and splatter art I made.

I like to decorate it with crystals, sacred geometry, comic book posters, and plants.

I have some anime, comic and movie posters on the walls, and some figures and funko pops on the drawers/desks,and that's pretty much it.

My apartment is decorated with a lot woodwind themed items. You could say it's a shrine to woodwinds.

My room is simple in layout. I have my bed tucked into the corner, dresser that I put my game consoles on along with my keys and wallet, then a coffee table next my bed that I use for Gunpla building. My under bed storage and the space under the coffee table has been taken over by my backlog of Gunpla with more on the way. Then I have two shelves that I have my Gunpla and figures displayed on.

but ideally i'd like my room to be simple and light, put my geeky things in a room of their own
