I'll probably continue watching anime as I get older but the amount I watch will reduce like it has in the recent years, I don't think my tastes will change though.

I can relate because I have seen so many harem animes that if I try to watch to newer stuff like that, I find them very generic and cliche. It is very hard to watch.

Yeah the tropes making them all samey aside from a gimmick or two didn't help. Man I wish I couldn't remember some of the shows I watched before... one I recalled just now was about a young man whose dead pets (who he killed via neglect or something like that iirc) came back to life as sexy girls in love with him. Why???

Just did some searching around (because this sounded both ridiculous and amazing) and I believe it's called Angel Tales (Otogi Story Tenshi no Shippo), MAL link here: https://myanimelist.net/anime/682/Otogi_Story_Tenshi_no_Shippo?q=Otogi%20Story%20Tenshi%20no%20Shippo

I'm pretty sure I wont get tired of anime; maybe some days I'll get burn out but that's about it, as I'm sure I'll still going back eventually.

Hm, I suppose my tastes have changed slightly. When I was younger I didn't know how to appreciate the intricate character development, decent cinematography, and music utilized. Now I actively look for such qualities.

Still that doesn't stop me from watching something as ridiculous as Bananya (cats in bananas). I have guilty pleasures.

I think if my tastes were going to change or I was going to stop watching anime, it would have happened by now.
