Before someone is triggered about the thread, no this is not about gloating over the fact Trump won, at that I did not even Vote for Trump or Hillary.. I voted for Jerid Glasspoole. This is a challenge to see if you can name three good things about Trump being the president. 'because even if you hate him, you know their is some good about him being in office. If you like him then three reason why he was your pick for president.

I Will start.

1. The prevention of WW3. I am sure most of you already know Hillary and Russia did not get along at that she had plan to go all out war with Russia once she had won the election. By Trump beating her Russia did not only not become are enemies, he is joining Trump in a joint effort to destroy Isis once and for all.

2. Lower Tax for everyone Including new Businesses witch means a lot for people like me who is starting a new Business.

3. Building a Wall! Come one we need a wall! China has the great wall, America Needs the Make America Great again Wall.

Now it is your turn!

PS.. please stay one topic, and thanks you ahead of time.

I'm mostly happy about the economic policies:

Trade renegotiations, deregulation, and tariffs (though I'd hesitate to carelessly implement tariffs).

1) As Washington pointed out, no president comes out of two terms without white hair. (Which will obviously not be a problem for Dead-Rat Head.) The job is so demanding, even Obama has turned Morgan-Freeman.
Trump, of course, will only have one term, but even then be far too old to do anything else afterwards, let alone grope anything. Unless you're TR, Taft or Grover Cleveland, the presidency is usually the End of the Line.

2) It's like Hillary and Jeb Bush running--If it didn't happen, we'd just wonder about it ever afterwards, and concoct wild fantasies where people think it would have been a GOOD thing. Sometimes the Best Way Out Is Through.

3) We are now ironclad assured that Pluto Nash will not be spending $10,000 Hillarys on the moon.

Challenge accepted, however I will give myself the rule that none of my reasons can be along the lines of "Hillary would have been worse in this aspect" because I feel democracy is about voting to show your support of the candidate who best represents what you want out of your country, not voting to keep out somebody you dislike. I wholeheartedly suggest others do the same.

1. Re-appealing the TPP. Sure, he's doing it because it doesn't benefit him and not because it's bad for the average citizen, but it is a good outcome regardless of the motivation.

2. People will start thinking about their votes more seriously. From Brexit to Trump I have heard no shortage of people who cast a vote without fully realising the consequences only to regret it once they did. Hopefully this will be the nail in the coffin for this trend.

3. Making me a believer of horseshoe theory. I used to mock those who said that both the left and right were more similar than they are different, but this cycle has opened my eyes to the fact that the actions and measures of one are at several times indistinguishable from the other. I can certainyl say that I came away from this election cycle more informed than I was going in.

1. This Young Turks meltdown video on election day:

2. You can still be elected president while being fought against by the establishment

3. It was hilarious to see how people went from "Haha look at this orange troll running for president" to "Oh crap this orange troll is now the leader of the free world!"

True: The Angry Republican "Let's kick the Fatcat Bums out, and handle those dirty foreigners OUR way!" which sounded so entertaining and colorful when nobody could actually DO anything about it, will now get rich opportunities to look ridiculous from example.

Maybe it'll be aversion therapy for the more successful Republicans to stop playing the Colorfully Angry card whenever Hillary isn't running.
(Come to think about it, she's not running anymore, what DO they have to be angry about and wage Ahab-war against the Democrats for?...Fears of Michelle Obama running?? The "Dynasty" of any other two-term Democrat who comes along and happens to get good approval ratings?)
Of course, the Republicans don't know how to stop playing it, so they'll go back to losing peacetime elections again. Which is also a plus.

2) Watch the fence not get built

That's.... the.... point.

Work visas are legal...

I'm confused.

Wait, do you even know what Trump's stance on immigration actually is?

1) Scaring the fuck out of people.
2) The White House Reality TV Series Starring Trump.
3) The Democratic Party rethinking its Priorities.
4) SJW crying and complaining (very predictable).
5) The surprised shock on people's faces when they didn't see it cumming.
6) People who didn't see it coming.
7) The Democratic Party destroying itself in its pitiful attempt to regroup and reorganize.
8) Politicians and the Media pulling a 180 and kissing his ass.
9) Riots and protest along with more crying.
10) The fact that Trump is surprised that he won.

Trump's stance as of right now or last week?

And

My number 3 is a reference to the fact that most people in the country illegally came across the border legally which is why a huge expensive wall is just dumb.
