Considering we Americans aren't even bound by it either (never ratified the treaty), absolutely nothing.

Sudan, South Africa and Burundi have withdrawn as well along with Israel. It's just a steady march toward irreverence.

Hey the UN is amazing when it comes to talking about fixing things. Like everyone in their teenage years they'll get around to finally taking care of it...eventually.

what a fking intelligent comment, so well qualified too

when 4 out of the usa's last 4 presidents are traitor criminals and saw most of the establishment trying to put yet another war criminal in office, what use does an "International Criminal Court" have?

Yep absolutely nothing at all... it was a good idea but ultimately doomed to fail if it didn't have buy-in from the number one exporter of war.

No! Not the International Cricket Council!

Wait, what are we talking about?

But seriously, its unlikely to actually matter much. I think the more interesting part is that this comes in the wake of the ICC saying that Russia's actions in Ukraine are likely "criminal". While I don't think Russia would face legal consequences either way, I think this does reinforce country's decisions to embargo Russia and I think that is the more important place where the ICC sits (not in prosecution but in validating international policy decisions and discussions).

Disposing of a legitimately elected government is illegal too, but nobody seems to be taking the USA to international criminal court over its shit ton of instances of such.

Ukraine is on the USA's list, not Russia's.

Or perhaps you think its a coincidence that the coup happened just after the legitimately elected government of Ukraine decided to go with Russia's trade offer and not the EU's. And oh wow what a coincidence, this new illegitimate unelected government that saw a handful of US citizens become new Ukranian American citizens so that they could serve in government positions.....and oh wow, what another coincidence, they took some of the biggest criminals that the legitimately elected government threw in jail, and put them at leadership positions. Yuliya Tymoshenko who talked about wanting to nuke eastern Ukraine, was in jail before the coup and was taken out and given a position and voice.

Wow, what a coincidence, after the coup, the new "government" was amazingly pro EU!

Victoria Nuland, one of Obama's lackeys, helped make the coup possible.

They used neo nazis to attack the government offices and killed government workers when the coup happened. Difficult to get the image of that strangled pregnant woman dead & bent over the desk out of my head when I think of that.

But keep telling yourself Russia's the enemy here.

It means that, like the US, Russia is not a part of this ICC, another rejection of the NWO.
