Absolutely nothing. Havn't celebrated any holidays in years.

Personally, I'm doing the same thing as every year for the past many - providing a meal for those in need at a local park. Already been cooking the turkeys, since there aren't enough hours on the day to finish all of them in just my one oven, but I'm making good progress. Grabbing a couple more this morning if the store still has them, in fact.

Good on you bro, that's awesome.

I have to work that evening so we'll do a big late lunch. It's only going to be 3 of us so we don't need a whole turkey. We were thinking of doing Cornish hens or maybe a honey baked ham. Plus they're going to feed us at work.

Watch local high school football game, play some football with my family, eat a lot, watch tv and pass out while doing so, wake up for desserts, back to sleep or perhaps videogames in that order.

My brother and his girlfriend are having Thanksgiving at their place. So I will be over there probably for the whole day, then I have to work later that night *le sigh*

This year I'm very excited for Thanksgiving because, as a college student, I don't get to enjoy homemade food very often. Therefore this is pretty big deal for me.

Last time I had a home cooked meal I nearly cried because I was so happy.

Sounds like you like some football.

My extended family is big enough to have 2 decent sized teams, might as well take advantage of it, plus nothing beats family traditions

I'll make the pies today. Bread, croissants and cinnamon rolls, etc. tomorrow... then the turkey goes in the oven early Thursday. The rest of the day I just try to keep dishes from piling up and messes to a minimum. Friday I totally relax and think of how good it has been to share so much good food and all of the new and old stories. It's a lot of work but totally worth the effort on my part.
