Ate white castle when I lived in the states. Pretty salty and dry sliders, not good in the slightest, imo.

I don't even really eat fast food so I'm going with Red Robbin, way better.

Seconded
Especially since I just spent a while eating not Burgers in Singapore

Fast Food: Wendy's
Chain not Fast-Food: Can't say; going local is usually better
Local: Huey's, Gus's Good Time Deli, The Trailer of Life (Late night college food in Cambridge, UK), and there was this place I went to once (a bit far to go more often) called Trio that had a great burger, but maybe I was just hungry

Fast Food-ish: In N Out Burger, Smash Burger, Shake Shack, Devil Dawgs

Nicer and with a most likely longer wait time to be served: Au Cheval

Smash Burger is probably the best around where I live. Not a drive-thru joint but I think they kick the crap out of red robin which, frankly, is a lot of sit down hype. The appetizer there look like they came out of a microwave. Maybe your red robin is different. The ones near me don't really impress me much.

I should point out that I don't eat burgers that often. So I'm not really an authority by any means.

I recently went to a local burger shack called "Tastys".
Holy mother of god do they have amazing burgers, fries, and shakes. I went into a food coma soon after.
