Aww, that reminds me of Mayuri in Steins Gate. One wonders If Lala happens to like Chicken Strips.

I carry around at most a 20 dollar bill.

You never know when you need cash cause some places don't accept cards.

But right now *looks in wallet* I have a 5 dollar bill~

Rofl. Some of my friends walk around with $800+ in their pockets. I'm the poor fool up in 'ere, yo.

Why?? Never heard of a credit card? I'm all for carrying cash but if I needed $800 on me, I'd just go to the ATM/Bank nearest to the place where I'm planning to spend all that money on. It's pretty much what I do everytime I go to a Con or get a tattoo.

The few I know that walk around with that much money have a paranoia of banks/credit agencies, yet make a decent amount of money (more than me, in fact). They pull all of their money out of the bank the day after they get paid just so it can't be "stolen". But these guys have $100k+ salaries.

Interesting. It's opposite for me. I'd be paranoid as fuck if I had to take out my savings. I wouldn't even know where to place it. I have a fire-proof safe but I just use it for my passports, a small amount of emergency cash, documents, and fleshlig--uhh..more documents. Even when I go on vacation, I try to bring a small amount of cash and just put everything else on a card.

I try to keep a 20 dollar bill in my wallet for emergencies. But some way some how, I always end up leaving my debit card at home and I got out and buy food or something and I USE IT.

I generally carry around $50-100 on me at any given time.
My rule of thumb is that I don't carry any more than I can afford to be stolen/lost.

Pretty much this. Enough for a tank of gas and/or some groceries.

I don't normally carry cash unless I'm traveling. I don't even have a wallet anymore. Much easier to just have a clip with ID/cards.

I always have at least an "emergency $20" just in case. It's saved me from some pretty awkward situations more than once.

Usually just a $20 bill for gas because at most gas stations cash price is cheaper than paying with cards. For other things I just use my debit cards or credit cards.
