This outstanding avian is OVER 90 YEARS OLD. Am I the only one completely astounded by this?

This parrot has seen World War II, has witnessed Freddy Mercury, and has been featured in films.

This thread doesn't have nearly as much purpose as others, but it's an incredible wonder.

Thoughts? Opinions? Are you blown away as well?

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!

No, typical life spans are 60-80 years for most large breeds, but some individuals have lived to be over 100.

They actually have quite interesting personalities. However, they're a huge amount of work and are far more destructive than a dog or cat - I'd never want one in my home.

Having a parrot is sort of like having a three-year-old child... For 60 years.
