Was just thinking about the increase in 'mysterious fires' at ballot booths and counting agencies.

Not just auditing but make all code open source and allow people to inspect it on any device upon request. It's hard to hide vote manipulation when anyone can see the code and look over it themselves. Plus when everyone can look at it bugs can be found and eliminated much more often which would make it harder to hack.

Some of the voting machines in use in the state are over a decade old. So in a way its kind of amazing they aren't under that sort of level of scrutiny. Especially given their vulnerabilities have been demonstrated repeatedly by everyone from Symantec to Edward Snowden.

Instead of paper votes why aren't electronic votes audited for authenticity and problem solved. Our system is old and antiquated. In order to have an audit of the voting machines one has to A. Contest the election results and B. Spend millions of dollars doing it. It's up to the challenger to pay for the audit. These machines have NEVER been audited. Nobody bothers to check for accuracy or to make sure there's no cheating or malware. It just seems like common sense to audit the machines. Surely there could be software designed to do this. After this contentious election that saw a lot of outside influence it just seems a no brainer to audit the machines. If nothing else it will give everyone peace of mind. Any idiot hacker who knows a few things could hack into these and apply some malware that would spread to the other voting machines in the area. Our election could very really be stolen from us and nobody would ever know because nobody bothers to check. I think that would be a rare event myself but it is NOT out of the realm of possibility. The whole system reeks of exploitation and those who wish to safeguard against said exploitation are punished when it should be the other way around.

In a way yes. If we returned to paper people would stop calling it hacking and return to calling it ballot stuffing. Still wrong.

So.....Stein has successfully raised enough money to file for a recount in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Cui Bono?

Certainly not Jill Stein.

Amazing how the money flow is so consistent even in the middle of the night.

I remember my brother had to punch a kid out once, so he walked up to him, held his left hand way out and snapped his fingers, the kid looked at the finger snap, then came the right hook.

and also.....not the Green Party, who has not endorsed a recount at all, for some reason this is "alllllll Jill"

in order for the results to change, Hillary absolutely needs to win Pennsylvania and at least 1 other state.
Pennsylvania will almost literally decide the final fate of this election.

So I just read that Michigan doesn't even use computer machines connected to the internet. Suppose Jill Stein needs a new house too

Guess the Russians figured out to remotely hack paper ballots
