Nightcrawler has always been my favorite X-Men since I was a kid. He's got one of the coolest mutant abilities. He looks like a demon but has a heart of a saint. I always wondered why they never put him in any Marvel vs Capcom games. He would be amazing to play as.

Also, I haven't even started reading the new Kamala Khan "Ms. Marvel" (Carol Danvers was promoted to "Captain") and I like her already:

There should be so much demographic pandering built into her, as "New girl-power hero", "First Muslim hero!", "Comic fangirl turns hero!", but despite all the "marketing", she still manages to be the same struggling, insecure part-time-teen superhero with a Great Responsibility conscience that Peter Parker was. ("Good isn't a thing you are...It's what you DO.")
You just don't think of her as a "Pandering girl-makeover character for Agent Carter fangirls" like Spider-Gwen, X-23, or that new black female Iron Man, you just want to see her finally get a bigger break in the Avengers like Spiderman did.

There is only one correct answer...

Doom!

Doom!

Doom!

It's a rare thing for Victor Von Doom to get his own comic book but those moments are always awesome to behold. Since his debut as one of the first enemies of the Fantastic Four the man known most often as Doctor Doom has towered over the Marvel universe, a noble villain that stands as one of the most iconic comic book characters of all time. To this day, over 20 years later, Doom 2099 remains one of my favourite comic book runs. I'm also enjoying the new ongoing Infamous Iron Man, wherein Doom takes up the mantle of Iron Man after Tony Stark's apparent death.

where can I read the comics though? and where would I even start

Well there's marvel unlimited for one. It's basically a netflix-esque streaming service where you can read almost all the marvel comics in existence up to those released about 6 or 7 months ago. I recommend physical copies if you can afford them however and unless you want to go hardcore and collect the old issues your best bet is graphic novels that collect them all together. There are many different ways to read Dr. Strange through this but the best way to start will probably be with the Marvel masterworks: Doctor Strange series. The first volume can be found on amazon for $25.

https://www.amazon.ca/Doctor-Strange-Vol-Marvel-Masterworks/dp/0785111808

If you'd rather look at other GNs your local comic and book shops will definitely be happy to help you out.

thank you so much, do you have any idea how many volumes there are? and spin offs if there is such a thing in the comic book universe - like I said I don't read comics I domanga and anime lol

It occurs to me I should also probably mention that there is still an ongoing Doctor Strange series. I can't say for sure how good it is, but you can subscribe to it through Marvel's website with a 40% discount and free US shipping so that's pretty good if price is a big concern of yours.

https://subscriptions.marvel.com/store/ipd.asp?spid=1123

While getting that link I also found out that there is actually a Doctor Strange spinoff I didn't know about that just started. So that's there if you want it.

Dazzler.

I mean... look at her.

Also, Dazzler was the first superhero I ever saw who was actively conflicted about being a superhero, not because she wanted to be "normal" and live an unremarkable life... but because she wanted to be special. It was the secrecy that got her, the hiding and sneaking and concealing her identity. She wanted the spotlight. She wanted the stage.

That, I could identify with. Not the whinging dipshit complaining that he wanted to be BORING. "Waaaa, I have special powers and do cool shit all day! My life sucks! I wanna work in a shoe store and live in a rathole apartment!" The fuck is that shit? Somebody go slap Peter Parker for me.

But "do the special thing WE like, not the special thing YOU like" was something I could relate to.

Moon Knight or Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan. Moon Knight because he's intense, kind of dark, and the art is gorgeous. He's basically Marvel's version of Batman (who's my favorite superhero overall) but with an ancient Egyptian bent.

Ms. Marvel on the other hand is relatable and funny. I'm not going to lie, I only started reading the series because people kept hyping how she's a minority, but I ended up loving her.

Or, you know what, Deadpool. I forgot about him lol. God, I almost exclusively read Deadpool & Batman comics yet I skipped right over him.
