She-Hulk, Steve Rogers (both in comics and in the MCU), and Gertrude Yorkes are my favourites.

I started reading comics in 1991 specifically because this issue caught my eye:

Due largely in part to Jim Lee's artwork, Wolverine instantly became my favorite Marvel character. That said, I'm more of a DC fan now so I don't really have one particular Marvel character who I consider to be my favorite. As far as group books go, however, any X-Men title is still a must read for me.

I haven't read the comics, but I'd say The Punisher. He may be a little edgy but damn is he cool. Especially the new MCU punisher. Can't wait until he gets his own series

Runaways! It's a slightly newer team (about 15 years old?), about mostly teenage heroes who are the children of villains. It starts out with mostly original characters, but they had crossovers for Civil War, one of the team is Ultron's son, and one kid is friends with Wolverine, so it does crossover with the rest of the Marvel comics often enough.

And Devil Dinosaur, who wasn't a villain, who was in from the beginning of the title--
Used to have Moon BOY for a sidekick, but this is 10's Marvel.

I also think that the video game Frank Castle is more badass than the one played by that pretty boy Thomas Jane, who doesn't even look like a vigilante. The real Punisher would feed bad guys to the piranhas, put them in a chimp or rhino cage as well as dunking their heads in a deep fryer.

It's too bad that people had already written off any Lionsgate attempt at a Punisher movie by the time we got "Punisher: War Zone"--
Except for the goofiness of the low-budget villain, Ray Stevenson gave us the closest idea of "What if we got a canon-classy MCU Punisher, and no, we DON'T mean those depressing cheap-@$$ Netflix shows":

Lunella Lafayette is a pretty great character, to be fair, but I do wish they'd bring in a modern Moon Boy as well. Especially since she stands a bit better as her own hero than as Moon Girl. She's an odd match for DD.

where can I read the comics though? and where would I even start

Well there's marvel unlimited for one. It's basically a netflix-esque streaming service where you can read almost all the marvel comics in existence up to those released about 6 or 7 months ago. I recommend physical copies if you can afford them however and unless you want to go hardcore and collect the old issues your best bet is graphic novels that collect them all together. There are many different ways to read Dr. Strange through this but the best way to start will probably be with the Marvel masterworks: Doctor Strange series. The first volume can be found on amazon for $25.

If you'd rather look at other GNs your local comic and book shops will definitely be happy to help you out.

thank you so much, do you have any idea how many volumes there are? and spin offs if there is such a thing in the comic book universe - like I said I don't read comics I domanga and anime lol

It occurs to me I should also probably mention that there is still an ongoing Doctor Strange series. I can't say for sure how good it is, but you can subscribe to it through Marvel's website with a 40% discount and free US shipping so that's pretty good if price is a big concern of yours.

While getting that link I also found out that there is actually a Doctor Strange spinoff I didn't know about that just started. So that's there if you want it.

I mean if you want, but it's not gonna have colour and it's the 11th in a series.
