It says it takes place a few years after the Zero Requiem, so I'm going to predict

- Kallen is in collage
- Nunnally's boobs are Shirley-sized
- Suzaku is still doomed to hide his face for the rest of his life
- Some group that understands what Lelouch did are against his actions for some reason.

The clips showed Kallen hanging out with the other surviving Black Knights characters and like, having a barbecue or something.
I don't think Nunnally was in the clip.

There was a part with Suzaku in his Rounds uniform for some reason. I don't know why, but I'm excited, because those uniforms <3

Length though.
They haven't said whether this will be a movie or a series.

I'm divided on this. On one hand, I love code geass. On the other hand though, the original had such a conclusive ending which became a signature of the original series, so this continuation feels like it cheapens it. On the other hand, the Zero Requiem always struck me as a very silly concept, so if they can make a sufficiently good story I doubt I'll miss it that much. IF they make a sufficiently good story.

At the end of the day I just hope that it will be really good and that Sunrise will do the original series justice and not treat it with all the respect a cash cow usually gets when the creators bring it back. Unfortunately remembering how Akito the Exiled turned out diminishes that hope a tad.

I'm all for it since the ending left a legitimate opening/justification for a third season (assuming they make whatever this is an actual season). Given that the anime was such a huge hit and great quality I can't imagine they'd ruin this as quickly as they did with DB/Z... (dear God please don't)

There were unanswered questions surrounding Lelouch's death and things that weren't shown on screen regarding Geass and codes, therefore it's not hard to think that these theories people have come up with over the years wouldn't be too far off the mark.

In the end, if it sucks, we can just treat it as we do with DBZ Super (or even the Buu Saga).

So probably Lelouch is immortal, hasn't aged, and the others characters Suszku and Nunnally and whoever else are senior citizens. And the grand kids of the old cast are the new supporting players, that is my prediction.

It picks up from where the last season left off supposedly, so I highly doubt that.

I'm conflicted myself as some have mentioned previous. I loved Code Geass and the conclusive ending it had (something few anime shows do these days), however I'm open for more content if there's a very good premise.

It really baffles me how nearly everyone here seems to be of the opinion that our Beautiful Emperor died at the end of the second season. Only two other people on here have spoken to the fact that, if you consider everything that was said in the anime about how a code is attained, you would realize that Lelouch inherited Charles' code. Furthermore, Nunally saw Lelouch's memories when she touched him after Suzaku stabbed him. The only other times that occurs is when Suzaku is fighting C.C when she came to save Lelouch, and when Lelouch touches her Knightmare frame a few moments later. It should have been an easy task for all these "fans" to put two and two together, but most people actually believed Lelouch actually died. C.C even speaks to Lelouch in the very last scene, but very few people I know believed he was still alive. After all these years of trying to convince people of this, it feels amazing to finally be proven right.

It has been stated it will be set years later:

Beyond that, the big news was plans for a “Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection” anime set several years after Zero Requiem, ...

I never thought that this would happen seeing that the show ended so perfectly. I'm not sure what to think about it seeing that such sequels end up being busts more often than not. There certainly is room to fill in the gaps after the Zero Requiem seeing that the aftermath lasted just a couple of minutes, but in any case I'm not exactly getting good vibes.

I'll put my faith that it will be good and gives me an excuse to watch R1 and R2 again on the cold nights.

Honestly, I'm of the opinion that this seems like a cash grab. There are loop-holes in R2, but I'm not convinced that the production studio didn't pull some excuse out of their asses to resurrect Lelouch and shovel in hard cash from drooling fans. At the very least, I hope they are bothering to put decent effort into it, though I don't think the ending of R2 puts them in a good position. With the way the R2 ending is, they're hard-pressed to come up with a continuation that measures up. I won't speculate on the "how" they'll insert to explain Lelouch's survival. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some off-the-wall explanation that they'll cement in, as opposed to the popular theories paraded about on the Internet. I'm content with waiting to see what actually will be canon, rather than fervently defending a theory that isn't confirmed.
