Once took a creative writing class in college that was based on dreams. Students were trained how to remember their dreams (journal was one tactic) then write short stories about them. (Got even less sleep because of this class ) There was some really weird shit we had to share. However, it got to the point where almost every dream was remembered and started messing with my mind during the day. Took a while to undo that 'training'.

I don't remember my dreams because of my lack of sleep.

Sometimes I have a vivid memory of my dream, sometimes no. My dreams range for adventurous to nightmares and stuff that has happened but in a different way to just plain weird and also a mixture of all that.

I remember once most of my dreams and I did thought about learning how to lucid dream. Most of the themes in my dreams are mainly death, fear, and heart breaks.

At least most of the time.. sometimes I get random and fun dreams too.

Sometimes I remember, sometimes I don't.

I dream all sorts of different dreams. There's no "genre" that the dreams stick to.

Some of the dreams are short, some are really long like a sci-fi / horror movie

Sometimes I remember a bit, small snippets. Latest one I've written down had me swimming in a massive pool of dirty, brown rain water. Also a rat running into a rat trap with a nature documentary explanation of it. Remember talking about the difference between rats and mice. Random is the word of the day when it comes to my dreams. Also people I've known in the past appearing ofc.
The only theme is that what I've been doing or thinking about might appear sometimes. Like when I played a sci-fi space game a lot, I dreamed about it. I cannot explain that rat, brown water dream though. Don't remember anything like it from before.

I remember them if I wake up abruptly in the morning. But the dreams I had during my childhood were somehow more vivid and easily remembered, so much that to this day I still recall many of them.

As long as I remember to recall them the second I wake up. And the more I rehearse it the better it becomes. And knowing even inaccurate recall is better than nothing.
