Videos won't load in latest version of chrome. In Chrome v54, All i get is an error that says could not load the plugin. Not sure the latest version of chrome supports the plugins that crunchy uses for their videoplayer.

It's working fine for me on both win 8.1 and win 10, I just made sure I was up to date on both...

Do you have two versions of flash active at the same time? Read both of the responses here before doing anything:

Shortcut to getting past all the settings menus, type this directly in your URL bar:
chrome://plugins/

I don't have 2 versions of flash. Ive also completely removed and reinstalled chrome multiple times and wiped my data from chrome entirely. No change. However it works in chrome canary, the development version.

Is your installed version 23,0,0,207?

That extension works. What is the purpose of this extension?

It uses a different player for the HLS files that are served to the devices, i.e. non-flash versions. Subs are hard-encoded on them, so they should play smoother, too, if you were having that issue, since the player only has to manage one stream instead of two.

However, sometimes you may have to wait a half-hour to an hour for just-released episodes to get full resolutions populated...

Does the auto-play feature work or is that something only built into the original player? Obviously this is just a bandaid for the real issue, as the extension apparently installed on Chrome Canary as well which works fine compared to chrome.

That's weird... My response seems to have disappeared...

As you say, a band-aid, but written by one of the mods here.

Autoplay does seem to advance and play the next episode, but doesn't advance the episode page/comments, so that might be confusing. Also re-watching a series probably won't be too friendly if you don't reset it with his other extension first, as it just goes to where you left off, which may only be a minute or less, then goes to the next one after that.

Hmm... I guess it'll work. Hopefully a new version of chrome will resolve this problem. For the record, do you know what build of chrome you use? If I could compare the build, it might answer some of my questions.

Using Version 54.0.2840.99 m (64-bit) on both win 8.1 and win 10.

The original flash player is working on both of those for me, I turned off the extension to double-check it just now.

I actually have that original flash plugin set to not automatically start on visiting a page; I have to right-click to play something. I prefer that, actually because that stops a lot of other website ads (but not the html-5 ones, those still autostart which I despise...).
